First time for all 4 in our party. Started out with corn cake/black bean appetizer. Very tasty. Drinks were well crafted. Ordered 4 different entrees, and each of us enjoyed ours, while tasting the other's and saying we'd get that the next time we visited.

PCG is one of our favorite dining establishments. We took some friends who had never been and now they are fans as well. Dinner was delicious; all four of us raved about our meals. We had to wait for our initial contact with our waitress who, when she came to the table, apologized profusely and offered us a free appetizer, which we said was not necessary. But when our check arrived she had comped the appetizers that we ordered. Smart move which only endears PCG to us even more. We frequently go for happy hour which we think is the best in the city.

We wanted good food, good service, moderate prices and the ability to converse with friends we have known for almost 50 years. PCG met all of our criteria. Everyone enjoyed their selections and the portions were not overwhelming. April, our server, helped with the menu and checked in at appropriate times. There was ample selection at moderate prices. There was some background music but it did not interfere with our conversations and the 6 of us were able to hear well even though we are all well past Social Security eligibility. My wife and I have also had Sunday brunch at PCG in the past and knew the food would be good.

We have driven by and heard about PCG many times and finally gave it a shot. The service and food was excellent and we will definitely be going back. The corner of 16th St. and Bethany Home has become a corner of great restaurant choices and PCG did not disappoint.

The food was delicious, the service was incredibly fast and our server knew the menu very well. Overall it was great. The only negatives were the drink was way too strong and the parking situation is quite ridiculous and they don't have valet.

Great food, good service. We were a party of 4 this time. We women had the beef tenderloin and the steak. Both were cooked to perfection. The men both ordered the pork special, which must have been pretty good because neither guy left any food on his plate. Cocktails and wine were excellent. This truly is a neighborhood gem.

Phoenix City Grille continues to be an excellent dining choice. Our party was seated promptly and served extremely well. The PCG Caprese and Caesar Salad were both terrific. The beef short rib, the filet and the ribeye were really well prepared and would have satisfied any red meat lover. The sides accompanying all three dishes were perfect! There was a bit of a glitch with our order, but it was handled quickly with profuse apologies. In the warm atmosphere of the setting and the professional skill with which it was handled, it was hardly noticed. We truly enjoyed our visit and will continue to make it one of our favorites.

Nothing stellar. We sat at the bar and the bartender was polite and engaged not overly so which is good. My husband is quite the chef and we go out a lot to try food and recipes; he rated his dinner a b- Mine was a burger and very good but I'm not a chef:).

Perfect environment for a sales team meeting. We are all from out of town or had never been to your restaurant and used Open Table to guide my choice. The restaurant was excellent. I will go to Phoenix City Grille again on my future visits to Phoenix. I had a beet salad and an incredible beef chile appatizer that was delicious! My reservation time changed by an hour last minute and they accomodated us no problem. We also had fewer people show up than planned and they were great about it. They were completely accommodating!

I catagorize restaurants based upon how memorable the meal was. I have been dining at PCG since it opened and am continually surprised and amazed by their specials. The regular menu is good enough to keep me coming back, but the daily specials are so foodie and uniformly excellent that the place is always interesting. Several of my "That was one of the best things that I have ever eaten" moments happened there.

In a time when every restaurant seems to think that being loud will make it seem edgy and cool, this was an oasis of serenity...even as it filled for lunch. We had a nice booth, and the menu had too many choices even for this high-maintenance eater: beet salad was lovely. A free dessert to celebrate a birthday, good attention to water and coffee refills, a personable and friendly waiter who was not at all obsequious. I will definitely be back!

I took some friends (two adults and their 2.5 year old kid) from out of town to the Phoenix City Grille, and it was great! The mom has celiac disease (she has actually been diagnosed, so *for real* no gluten for her), the dad is vegan, and I am on a low-carb diet. We were basically a server's worst nightmare, but she never batted an eye at all the special requests and substitutions. Gluten free menu options are plentiful and clearly labeled, there was a spectacular veggie plate for him, and I got the cedar-plank salmon, which was fabulous. It's not a coloring book menu type restaurant for kids, but they did have booster chairs and kiddo-friendly menu items. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are dining with a diverse group.

We've been going to Phoenix City for over ten years now, always have a great experience, and the food is always spot on. But this time the Chef must have had a bad day, my halibut was overcooked, and I mean really overcooked, and my husband's Osso Bucco was tough. This will not interfere with our going to Phoenix City, but hope this doesn't happen again.

Sunday brunch was delightful. Everyone enjoyed their selections. The menu has some interesting twists on old favorites like eggs Benedict with filet mignon and chipotle hollandaise or pork tenderloin on corn cake instead of an English muffin. We obtained the name of the restaurant from the internet. Reservation was very easy. Accidentally, we selected the wrong date but modifying the reservation was straight forward and fast. There was sufficient parking available directly outside of the restaurant. We were a party of five and all had different food selections. In all cases the food was very good. Only the service took a bit long.
