"My Open Table reservation was easily honored because I was the only diner; I had a perfect view of the bay harbor marina
even though it was dark outside. The fresh multi-grain raisin rolls were served hot; I asked for olive oil as a substitution for the butter that was provided. I enjoyed the shrimp risotto with diced asparagus; it was a generous portion of risotto, and I had the tails removed from the shrimp before being served. I ordered a side of sautéed garlic spinach which was delicious, but really not necessary given the size of the entree portion. The Merlot wine by the glass was a perfect accompaniment. The service was attentive, especially since there were no other diners in the restaurant."

"We had a great inner at 800 bay. We hadn't been there since the new owners took over so we decided to try it. We probably didn't need reservations, the food was delicious and the entertainment was wonderful. The only down was the rather boisterous bar crowd early on. Took away from the romance."

"With a Valentine's Day reservation, we were kept waiting 45 mins. for a table, and were seated only after pointing out to the host that people arriving after us were being seated first. Service was poor: server didn't have a wine list, didn't know what the risotto special was and forgot to ask (!). We had to ask for bread and water glasses to be refilled; empty wine and drink glasses were never removed. They were severely short-staffed-the host, hostess and valet park attendant scrambled to bus, reset tables and refill water glasses. The food was very good, though clams on half-shell didn't have lemon or sauce. The staff, from the front door to service didn't know what they were doing and couldn't keep up with the patrons."

"We came here for new years and had the best time in years! But we wanted to try it for dinner on valentines day. We were very happy with the ambiance but the food was very poor. Portions were very small and tasted like microwaveable food. Service was poor as well. Servers seemed like it was there 1st day on the job. We would try it again but please get it together. Great Resturant and location. Could be one of the best in the area but you need to get the staff on board!

P.s. Your bartenders are some of the best I have seen. Polite and on their game!"

"Reserved a table well in advance for Valentine's day. Called about special menu pricing told $38 per pp..was actually $70pp. Waitress was nowhere to be found throughout the night even brought a bottle of beer to the table without a glass! Dropped it and left! Food was very good but the total dining experience was very disappointing."

"The crab cake was wonderful as always. Although, this time instead of it coming on a nice bed of greens, it was served over chopped iceberg lettuce. We weren't thrilled about that, but the crab cake itself was delicious."
