  • Private Party Facilities: The Tasting Room is the accidentally discovered downstairs room at 569 Hudson Street, home to Philip Marie Restaurant. The private "Tasting Room" dining space started its life as an 18th century farm house kitchen. It was walled up and built over for more than a century until John rediscovered it, giving back its sense of purpose. Local lore has it that, in the late 1700's, the kitchen was the centerpiece of a loving couples home. Its dual hearths kept the lovers and the community warm and nourished. Once again, parties of 4 to 20 may experience exceptional dining, choosing from a customized menu, served in the very same kitchen the original residents cherished.
