    I took my husband here for Father's Day with our twin three-year old daughters. The food was excellent and the drinks divine. I love the mission but I had three issues: 1) the maitre d' was clearly off-put by our children. While I appreciate this is not an institution constructed with children in mind, withholding one's contempt is a basic expectation. 2) my husband and I are both in the cheese business. We ordered the cheese plate and both the runner and the waiter were unable to tell us anything about the cheeses beyond their type. 3) service was generally quite good, well timed, and appropriately chatty but our entrees arrived with our appetizer plates still on the table. This is a simple polish that should be in place....More
