"we had a pretty mediocre meal all around - food was less than stellar as was service
we were given a table right next to the entrance and asked for a different one- we were moved right next to the music - way too loud and finally got moved a third time. my chicken was way too salty and took 15 minutes longer to cook than my husband's steak and so his came to the table cool, try and overcooked. waiter was more interested in other tables than us and pretty much ignored us most of the evening - Very disappointed - as we have had nice meals there before - not sure we will return"

"This was our last night in the area for our vacation and couldn't have been better. The food was great, service excellent and there was an r n b band playing doing motown covers etc. couldn't have been better!"

"A very nice choice if you find yourself having dinner in Evanston. Solid food and service, very old school steakhouse ambiance. A bit on the pricey side, but still a very pleasant experience."

"The Lobster Mac and Cheese is delicious! Try the Wine Flights as well if you are a wine drinker or if you are feeling experimental and noncommittal. My personal favorite was Wine Flight #1 with the white wines. Live music which makes it fun. The wait staff was incredible as well. Super helpful and very talkative."

"This place has really gone down hill in the past few years once new ownership took it over. The quality of the food is subpar and the service is really slow and bad. They need to do a complete overhaul and get this place back up to speed. I do love the fact that they have live jazz every night of the week, but they need to have the service and food to match. Especially for what they charge here."
