Peso'sLoud music keeps me awayI live a few blocks from Peso's. I have found each time I've gone that the food is really terrific, and the house margaritas are amazing, fresh and strong. I wish management would put some thought into the musical selections and volume. Weekend evenings are particularly geared toward the bar crowd. Tonight I went with a friend. When we walked in, around 8:20 the music was at a reasonable volume, so we went in. At 9 it is clear that the volume (of bad classic rock/disco/nondescript bar music) gets cranked up in order to...what? Get hormones going? Get people to believe they're having fun? I don't know. They usually have space and the food and atmosphere are good. Kind out loud for an intimate conversion.
