Pescatores Restaurantwill travel for good foodgreat food and great time at this place. we drive 40-45 minutes for a nite at Pescatore"s. we take our extended family when we go. it seems no matter what I order i always enjoy what i get. My husband and I like to eat on the lighter side, and their grilled chicken breast and vegetables was perfect. We saved calories and splurged on really delicious Gelato. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was not overly crowded. But the food, oh the food!! In the worlds of my father, "this is the best veal I have ever eaten in my whole life. Both times, the food and service was very good. The portions were large enough to take home for leftovers. This last time, there were 9 people (two children and an infant). It was also Mother's day. We did not wait long for our food to come, it all came together and was hot. We were also seated as soon as we arrived, where many times with a reservatiion, you still have a 15 to 20 minute wait.
I would recommend Pescatore's as a nice place to eat.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day DinnerI took my mom here for Mother's Day for the first time, so obviously it was a little bit more busy than usual; however, the staff performed great under the steady influx of guests. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs to keep it simple, and for being a mom and pop restaurant I wasn't impressed with the sauce. It tasted like it was out of a jar and rather insipid. However, the meatballs were phenomenal. My mom ordered the Cajun Mai Mai, which I would give 5 stars. For desert, I ordered the Tiramisu for desert and it was the best Tiramisu I've ever had. My mom ordered the creme brulee, which I would give 4 stars. Staff is friendly, personable, and really on top of things. I believe my waitress was Jessica, I don't recall.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMQulaity and ValueI have experienced many Italian Rastuarants in Pennsylvania and Delaware and must say that Pescatore's is by far one of my favorites. The restaurant provides value with very ample servings. The diner can taste the freshness of the food from the very first bite.

The service was great but a little slow since it was busy (Sat night). This restaurant is very accomodating and flexible when it comes to special requests. This was our second time dining here and both times we enjoyed every bite. My husband is also into craft beers and was impressed by their selection. He also raved about the chicken parm being the best he's ever had. Both times I dined her I had a kind of fish and it was excellent on both occasions. Highly recommend.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI'm in love...Great place for date night. For starters we had bread with an oil mix that I believe comes with every meal. Extremely delicious!! Planning on going back for just that alone. Our service was very helpful in explain ingredients and wine pairing. For an appetizers we had the shrimp pescatores and the special, baked oysters. Both were very good and I would have been very happy to end the meal there. We had Lobster ravioli and veal chops as our entree, which we ended up just taking home. The portions sizes are pretty generous so consider skipping the appetizer unless you’re really that hungry. Finally we finished our meal off with a very sizable crème brule which we split as well. The food is wondrful, and the service is amazing--friendly, cheerful, and attentive. They will make every effort to satisfy any special requirements, they don't mind substitutions, and they are vegetarian-friendly.
