Very enjoyable dinner; the best Italian food I've had in a long time. Portions are very adequate and very well prepared. Menu is large and diversified with many specials, but de-emphasis on pasta. Their marinara sauce was fabulous! Only thing we felt could be improved was the soft Italian bread - we are fans of crispy bread (you can ask that they crisp it up), and enjoy something a little more exciting than just an Italian loaf; the accompanying olive oil was very good. Prices are fair for the quality and quantity. BYOB is a big plus.

We love dining at Pescatore. It is a gift to our neighborhood. The fish is always cooked to perfection. There is always delicious meat and pasta. Try the gnocchi. It is light and tender, melting in the mouth. Please leave room for the wonderful desserts.
We think of Pescatore for family events,weekday dinner and quiet weekend night for two. The servers complete the picture, striving to make the evening delightful.

This was our second trip to Pescatore's in two weeks. The menu is exceptional! The food presentation is beautiful, but mainly the prep is really, really delicious. Fancy, but not drowning in spices. Very flavourful. We will be back many times. We celebrated two birthdays, and the chocolate cake is to die for. It is very noisy, however, and very small, so it was not as pleasant on the weekend. But it isn't a big enough issue to stop us from going then as well. The fish specials were so fresh, and great variety. Really a great find; it was recommended by a friend of a friend!

Let's treat this review as a placeholder until we have a chance to go back. We had a late night reservation (after a movie) and I don't think either we or the restaurant were at their best. The food (shared arugula salad, potato gnocchi and seafood pasta pescatore) was good but not spectacular. The staff seemed interested in getting us through quickly so they could go home (we weren't the last to leave) and the other patrons seemed to have enjoyed the byob part of their evening perhaps a bit too much. Conversation across a table for two was difficult with the noise level.
All that being said, Pescatore is a step up from much of what else is available in the Narberth/Bala area. We will try it again a little earlier in the evening.
