We were not expecting so much food to be given when we ordered so a to go box was needed forsure. The atmosphere was really nice and romantic. We had mentioned in our reservation that it was our anniversary so they made our stay a little special by adding rose petals to the table and providing us with a nice desert. Our waitress was very nice and made us feel comfortable. As the evening progressed the assigned waiter never improved (matthew). My wife and i pressed through to try to enjoy our dinner when the waiter came with our food it was cold. the assistant waiter (zack) who made the dessert did an awesome job comforting us and assuring us that he would get the manager. After eating dessert the manager (matthew) can and presented us will fresh food to take home and apologized and took care of our bill. Zack should be promoted to a head waiter position, his attitude is great and showed that it was important that we enjoyed ourselves. Our steaks were cooked as ordered (Med-rare), sliced @ the table with sauce as a side item, can't refuse creamed-spinach and added as a side item. Perry's is very good at special occasions - I had mentioned it was my husband's birthday on the reservation, and they gave him a special dessert plate with "Happy Birthday Tim" written on it (in chocolate). My wife and I enjoyed a perfect evening celebrating our anniversary. When making the reservation I had mentioned that and they had rose peddles arranged on the middle of our table when they seated us. The steaks were cooked to perfection - my wife had the Chateaubriand and I had the prime rib with the bone in. The sides were delicious (steamed asparagus and potatoes au gratin). The wine list is remarkable. Service was excellent and they surprised us with a specially made desert. Asparagus appetizer was excellent, as were all main dishes. Our waiter recommended the creme brulee for dessert and it was fabulous.
I had mentioned that it was her birthday when I made the reservation and they came and spread red rose petals on the table and also brought a tasting selection of desserts at the end of the meal. She was thrilled and really enjoyed the meal.

The food was great and the service as always was the best.
The one negative was that we were seated at a small table for two right on the main isle and on a busy corner. My date was closest to the corner and was in constant fear of having someone run over her or have something spilt on her. We would have asked to be seated somewhere else but assumed the larger tables had been saved for larger groups because it was busy but alas they remained mostly un occupied during our entire stay. I would never settle for that table again.
