  • "My husband and I really enjoy dining at Perry's. Recently, we took family members visiting from out of town to lunch at Perry's. We had a wonderful time. I requested a quiet table when I made reservations and we were seated at a great table. The service was great also! My husband ordered fried shrimp and was quite pleased with the taste and number of shrimp.The only down side - 3 of the steaks we ordered were not prepared as requested. They were all rare instead of medium well. Two were sent back, while the third was eaten as is. I really appreciated the good attitude of our server as he quickly corrected the problem. The steaks were as requested when they were brought back to us."

  • "The overall experience was good. We did not appreciate being double charged for side items that came with the meal. Our waitress did not inform us that our vegetables of choice would be additional. When she asked what we would like our sides to be we told her that we wanted to substitute the vegetables and she said okay. Basically we were charged for $20.00 worth of vegetables without being warned, informed, or given a choice to accept those items at that price and found out about it upon receiving our meal bill. That appeared deceitful to us. Honesty is one of many attributes that makes up excellent customer service. Then we left her a 20% tip. Surely that tip was based on the service she should have rendered and not her mediocre service."

As a budget-conscious mom, I do question how I can justify paying such prices - so that's why I regard it to be a "special occasion" venue. The service is phenomenally good and the atmosphere is quiet and sophisticated."

  • "Took my wife an in-laws for her Birthday. We all had the Porkchop special. Absolutely loved it!! None of us were able to finish the huge serving you get. This was mostly due to the fact we filled up on the delicious appetizer trio of fried asparagus, Polish sausage, and calamari. We also brought along our 6 and 8 year old children. Not really a large selection for the kiddos, but the still had a great time."

  • "The food is incredible here. However, we had very poor service especially since the cost is so high. Normally I have had great service here, but tonight was not what happened. We were celebrating my mother's 82nd birthday and although the hostess was incredible and so was the valet at wishing her Happy Birthday - server sad nothing. Instead he even forgot her coffee after dinner and brought the bill and said - oh did you still want coffee. he didn't know the specials, spilled butter for the lobster, didn't know what the soup was and didn't come to check on our food. We noticed other waiters doing a much better job."

While waiting it took for ever to get a bartender to get our order and then when we placed it took for ever to recieve it.!i could understand if it had a full bar but it wasn't. It was dead in that area. When we finally sat down at our table the waiter was great!!! The experience could have been fabulous had the bar service not been so bad."

  • "My waiter could have been a little better on friendliness. He was a bit dry. On the other hand, Darrell made up for all of it. Darrell was exceptional! he made my visit very pleasant. I told the restaurant it was my birthday and he was the only one that made it special. Not only did he tell me Happy Birthday, but he provided me with one of the best desserts I ever had. My waiter never once acknowledged anything. My overall dining experience was a good one!"

  • "We don't get to Perry's often so it's always a special time for my wife and me. This visit did not disappoint. We were treated well, as if we visit all the time. There's a great wine list and many great food options. We opted for the special that night, Chateau Briand for two with asparagus. Our server made sure it was cooked exactly like we wanted and didn't make us feel bad at all for wanting it a "little less red." Overall it was a great dining experience. A bit pricey but worth it once and a while."

Upon arrival, my friends and i had a private room to ourselves and an extra table to place our cake and nick-nacks. They went above and beyond to make sure it was a memorable occassion for us! Everything was perfect....from the food to the service! Thank you Perry's sugarland for helping me throw a shower for a friend that was forced to have one!!!!!"

  • "Took my son - in - law and 4 of my Grandkids to celebrate the 16th birthday of a brother. It was the first times for the 4 kids to have lunch at Perry's. My oldest Grandson ordered escargot as an appetizer and each one of us had a chance to taste and savored the taste. Several of us ordered the pork chop and as always it was fantastic, we'll seasoned and melts in your mouth. Youngest grandson ordered the steak and it was cooked the way he likes it and he enjoyed every bite of it. The celebrant ordered the Hamburger and it was the best hamburger he ever had. Our waiter Joanna was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. Overall we have a wonderful lunch and memorable experience spending time with Family"

  • "Perry's sugar land never dissapoints. Steaks are always cooked to perfection, all the other food is just as delicious, and the wine selection is superb. Whenever I dine here I always order the lobster bisque which is amazing! This particular visit I tried the bread pudding dessert for the first time, despite being super full, and it was well worth it. I recommend this place for celebrating something special or a very fancy dinner date."

Loved the fried asparagus appetizer from previous visits... .knew to order it so wasn't disappointed although didn't expect it to be as greasy as it was. Wine list great but our server was not knowledgeable and wasn't very smooth with the presentation. The timing of items arriving was off. Chocolate Cake dessert was awful.. don't order it. definitely not worth the wait. The atmosphere is nice and staff is courteous. This is a good place to take older relatives who expect a traditional fine dining experience."
