Dad had the famous pork chops, while mom and myself had the grilled salmon. Everything was great. Mom kept saying over and over, how much she was enjoying her Mother's Day dinner. The bread pudding was to "die" for. My salmon was slightly undercooked and my wife's Caesar salad with chicken was not correctly prepared. We were a table of 6 celebrating 2 birthdays and a wedding anniversary. The service was impeccable and the restaurant is beautiful. We ordered and the salads were out quickly and very good. When the entrees arrived, one lady had to send her salmon back because of the very strong fishy smell. She ordered another entree, but it did not arrive until the rest of the table had finished their meals. I ordered the lamb chops and they were not nearly as tender as they usually are. The desserts were wonderful and festive with candles and a sparkler. This was not our best experience at Perrys, but we will be back. Everybody has an off day. Our neighbors had taken us there once before, and we were impressed. Rose petals were sprinkled on our table in honor of the event. That was a nice touch. The asparagus with lump crabmeat was delicious. Everything was excellent. What a deal!!! Salad, entree and dessert for less than the normal price of the pork chop alone. If you have never tried the pork chop, it is to die for. The service and food were outstanding. One ordered tuna and it was served "cold" or not hot enough for that person so she requested that it be substituted and asked for the salmon which was what I had. It was delicious. It took a long time for her substitution to arrive and we were just about through eating when it arrived so that was not pleasant. The manager came out and apologized. The waiter then told us that the manager was providing four desserts at no charge, which was very nice, even though two of us would not have ordered dessert. The food was fabulous. the noise was not loud so it was easy for everyone to visit.
