  • "As I sent an email to Perry's My wife and I ate at 4 pm on Saturday. This was after shopping and waiting for the restaurant to open, I made a reservation and we walked it. Beautiful place. The waiter came over and we asked at we have no onions or cucumber on any item. My wife ordered the pre fixed meal with Salad and the Pork. I ordered the strip and Corn. Salad was full of onions and the Pork was not as good as most restaurants. The strip was good and I was satisfied with my steak. The corn was full of onions so we substituted for Mash potatoes. Overall the restaurant was beautiful but the experience and the lack of detail and lack of quality was lacking."

  • "For $12 you get a massive amount of meat (which I had leftovers), a nice serving of mashed potatoes and some applesauce. The pork is seasoned perfectly and the applesauce turned out to be the perfect side item to dip my meat in (don't judge me!). This restaurant is huge on the inside but they managed to give it a cozy feel in spite of the size. Service was quick and our server was delightful."

  • "Having dined at several other Perry's establishments, this was, by far, the best of the lot. It was more expansive, less confined than the others. The setup was clean and professional -- as if the waitstaff wanted diners to know and appreciate the clean silverware and glassware (unlike other Perry's). Our server was outstanding and attentive, as was the manager who stopped by several times to ensure we were enjoying our experience. It will become a good place for us to enjoy lunch on those special (and not-so-special) occasions."

  • "I took my friend here for lunch. I made reservations just in case it was busy, but it wasn't. They had the pork chop special going on so there were a few people there. We don't eat pork, so we ended up ordering something else. My friend got the sea bass, and I for the salmon. It was SOOO GOOD!! Our waiter, Chris told us my salmon was burnt, so they had to remake it, so my meal was a little long coming out. It was ok, because we were enjoying our great cocktails. He had the Manhattan and I had the juniper grapefruit cocktail. Out dining experience was great. We will definitely be coming back!"

  • "We frequent Perry's in Sugar Land but the service was very poor this time. The waiter took too long to come to our table after we sat down. He apologized but the service didn't improve at all. We had to ask the manager or maybe it was the wine steward who was walking around to open our bottle of wine because the waiter hadn't done it. Bread was promised by another member of the wait staff but we never received it. It made what was a special occasion dinner (a birthday) less enjoyable. The food was as good as always but the poor service definitely took away from our experience."

  • "Steak was great. Seafood Symphony Kabob was marginal. Overall fish was overcooked and cold when brought out. Service was very slow. Although our waiter was very nice, it took very long time to get wine. When our appetizer came out, the runner told us (without prompting) they had forgot about our order. After waiting for almost 15 minutes to try to order wine after our glasses and bottle was empty. Staff was more concerned with clearing tables and polishing wine glasses. We still had a great date night, but for the price of the meal, the service and food was mediocre - BTW - the restaurant was not busy."

  • "Took my in-laws to dinner. Our order was delayed in getting to our table for some reason and when it did arrive my husband and I were served room temperature steaks. We sent them back and received the same steaks at the same room temperature. Sent them back again, my in-laws were finished eating and we were never saw a steak in front of my husband or I again. We were charged for all items ordered, with a notation that they would "comp" the meals we never received. We did speak with the manager on duty, but he seemed to be in a little over his head in a management position. Will not be returning."

  • "My wife took me there for dinner to celebrate Father's Day. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait nearly 20 minutes in the bar for our table. The service was extremely slow, the food preparation and delivery even slower. It took over 2 hours for our entree to arrive at ours - the time it took for the entire dinner service was over three hours. Horrible. By the time the meal arrived we were full from bread and the soup. Far too slow, seems to be poorly managed. We even heard employees commenting about how the head chef treated the kitchen staff which had resulted in poor performance - output. Anyway, we will look to another restaurant for our 'night out' experience."

It was more suitable for families with kids who have a better understanding of social norms. That said, my wife and I went for our seventh anniversary and found the mood to be relaxed with a good ambience. I've had better steaks in my life, but Perry's was in the upper third."

  • "Sorry but this was only the 3rd time for me to visit and it was my wife's first time. The food was not anywhere near what we expected, especially for the amount of money I spent. She had the Fillet Perry and it tasted burnt (even ordered medium rare). The outside was charred and she just thought that was the way it was supposed to be. We told our waiter at the end and he was "going to see what he could do" but nothing was done. I had the Cowboy ribeye and for almost $50, I received a steak that was about 60% fat and another 15% bone. The side dishes were very good and our guest ordered the seafood skewer and at least said it was "alright" but nothing special. Overall, for $335 and then a $50 tip, I would've expected more."

  • "We have gone to Perry's several times when we wanted to celebrate something special. We ordered premium drinks, but we had to wait 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive, The bread came to the table but there were no bread plates - we had to ask for them. We had to wait for the main course for over 30 minutes, and we had to ask for for the status of the main meals. The 2nd drinks and my friend's coke also came after many minutes. The onion soup looked as though it came out of a can with minor cheese around the edges and a lot of croutons. The soup was served with tablespoons as was the dessert. I cannot imagine Perry's not knowing the difference between tablespoons and a round soup spoon and a dainty dessert spoon for the creme brele. "
