  • "Four of us had a business dinner at Perrys in Sugar Land last night. It was disappointing all around. The service was not bad. It just wasn't good. The waiter said a lot of the right things but it came across as scripted rather than genuine. The food looked pretty but was mediocre at best. That made it overpriced. The wine list was extensive with lots of quality wines but they were grossly overpriced even for Houston. We were on expenses but I still came away feeling screwed. I doubt that I will go back."

The service was good, but the food was surprisingly disappointing. The salads had too much dressing and pepper. The steaks while cooked "medium" the outside was burnt. The meat was also very salty. The appetizers and desserts were good."

  • "Very frustrating meal. We were there for dinner on a Sunday, tried their four course anniversary special. There was a long wait between courses up to 45 minutes waiting on dessert. The pork chop was still excellent but the ahi tuna was warm and seasoned badly. Even the famed asparagus appetizer was tough and greasy. Though two managers checked on us up to the salad course there were none to be found to expedite the ridiculous 3.5 hour meal."

  • "I have never complained on a website like this but I felt I just had to because my family and I have been to Perry's many times for special occasions and always had a great experience, but after this last dinner I feel their quality has definitely gone downhill.We sat in a booth & the side my parents sat on the fabric on the seat was badly cracked & they said their side was lumpy, they felt like they were sitting in a hole in the seat, sinking. We all ordered wedge salad & none of them were cold, but room temperature & lettuce was wilted. The steaks were good and all cooked as we ordered but the quality just was not up to par compared to what we've experienced here before. Service was still good though."

My wife and I caught a great special that served both of the dishes we were going to select anyway. Perry's provided a four course meal for a great price! Besides the great food, the great service, and the excellent environment...my wife and I had a great time! We will be coming back next month with friends!"

The staff was amazing, very sweet, wishes is a happy anniversary multiple times & when we got there the hostess guided us to the back of the restaurant in a both secluded from the rest of the restraurant with rose petals are the centerpiece. Also, the food was to die for. I would COMPLETELY recommend!!!"

  • "This is a beautiful restaurant and hands down the finest dining in the Sugar Land Area. We were so excited to dine at this restaurant for Houston Restaurant Week and it definitely lived up to the hype. Their double cut pork chop is a MUST! It is amazing!! So tender and juicy and the best chop I've ever had. Our server was very friendly and was very attentive. It can get a little pricey, but it's on par with Ruth's Chris and other high end steakouses. You can always have a drink and some apps in the bar and have just as great of an experience. I think we found our new favorite restaurant, and can't wait to go back soon."

  • "I have dined at Perry's numerous times and this was the first time my "world famous pork chop" was fully loaded with fat. There was probably more fat than lean. The caesar salad was floating in dressing and very salty, which made it impossible to eat. I purchased the 4444 deal and wondered if the quality was compromised because of the discounted meal. I hope this unfortunate experience doesn't happenn to anyone else and that this was an isolated incident."

  • "We had dinner reservations at 8:30 PM on a Sunday evening. Three of us enjoyed the crab cakes, salad & Dessert Trio. Two of us ordered the Filet Mignon medium well and was undercooked with no flavor. The salmon was served with the dark gray meat still attached & they informed the other guests that it was the worst salmon they have ever eaten. Our waitress was very slow in refreshing our drinks. It took 2 hrs and 10 min from the time we were seated to time we walked out of the restaurant due entirely to the slow service. If you are going to dine at this restaurant, you better not have other plans afterwards because you will probably be late. Due to the bad overall experience at this restaurant, we will not be dining here again."

The wider portion of the steak was more like rare and while the steak was delicious, I just couldn't bring myself to eat some of it. When I booked the table I did not see any private dining options (except for small groups) and my wife and I were seated very close to a group. I'll know better next time (since I did see a couple dining alone in a small room)."

  • "This was my husband and my first visit, as we had been wanting to try Perry's but hadn't made it yet. Ambience was awesome, very romantic and secluded as we asked, quiet and pleasureable. Asparagus app. was well worth the price in taste alone, but filet mignon with crab was undercooked and a tablespoon crabmeat on top. For the high price there should've been more, wouldn't order again. My husbands steak however was generous, and the same price ( different cut). Live and learn! Waiter was excellent, even offering sample wine testing before we ordered a bottle. He was spot on with all our needs. Overall, nice but pricey, for 2 bill nearly $200.00 w/o dessert (but 56.00 wine). Get the mushroom appet.,amazing. Another visit--perhaps...."
