Overall food was terrific - bread straight from oven, whipped butter, wonderful seafood(snapper, scallops and shrimp) and fun/entertaining desserts!! Even the coffee was noteworthy. Only complaint was the time for food to be delivered to table(5:30 reservation...left at almost 8:30 p.m.). Oh, and the water was warm. That's supposed to be upscale for your palate BUT not in our Texas heat. "

  • "Celebrated my wife's birthday and was pleasantly pleased. She had the pork chop and thought it was amazing in every way. I had the 12 oz. Filet Mignon and it was prepared perfectly. We both had the wedge salads which were fresh and on point. Our side dishes were delicious. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and well-timed. Plan on coming back soon. Will definitely recommend Perry's to family and friends. "

  • "I went with my co-workers on April 9, 2014, our experience at Perry's was fantastic! We liked it so much we went again April15th however the experience was not the same. Very disappointed! I loved the hanging seafood kbob ordered it again, it was COLD. I should have just sent it back, there were other appetizers on the table so I just ate what was there. And your calamari is too greasy."

  • "Late lunch on Friday was the perfect time for our first visit to Perry's.My husband loved the lunch portion of the delicious 'famous' pork chop.My salmon was perfectly cooked but the piccata sauce was devoid of capers (which I love) and my request for 'dressing on the side' for the shrimp/spinach salad was ignored.The beautiful greens were swimming in the cloyingly sweet concoction.Super kudos to the friendly,professional manager,Jose and to our server for their conscientious concern and attention to our son's food allergies.Jose made us feel confident that the kitchen was aware of our son's needs and that he could safely enjoy a cheese flatbread pizza.Great place for special occasion dinner or Friday lunch in a classy yet comfy setting."

  • "Heard from a friend that they are open for lunch on Fridays, so we decided to check it out ... my wife and I both ordered their famed pork chop special at about 1/2 the usual dinner price and were pleasantly surprised at the portion they served, it was the same awesome taste and quality as the one on the dinner menu and more than ample for a lunch serving (we both took left overs home) and it really wasn't that much smaller than the dinner portion we usually get!. What a great value for an upscale lunch spot with a quality wait staff ... which by the way was just as attentive as the dinner staff. We'll be going back again for lunch on Friday!"

  • "We went on a Sunday for the special pork chop. Nice place, Angel the waiter was terrific, good martini and excellent Caesar salad. When the presenter brought the chop out she had her back to me the whole time so I could hear a word of the presentation. The meat had a very large amount of fat on it which made the offering very greasy. There is quite a difference between juicy and greasy and this didn't hit the mark. My wife had one small piece and passed on any more. I ate a couple pieces. Took the rest home and will try to cut off the excess fat and microwave the grease out. I would NOT recommend this chop. I fell for the hype and got burned...or should I say "greased?"."

I had a Classic Sidecar and my wife had the Raspberry Crusta. Both were outstanding. Once seated at our table we ordered the pork chop and salmon. Again both dishes were very good.   • "A group of coworkers loves to lunch at Perry's on Pork Chop Fridays, usually birthdays or special occasions. The food is always excellent. This time the service was good except for the extremely long wait time for our food. We had a group of 8--all pork chops with one entree salad. We were seated promptly at 1145am and ordered by 1150am. We received our food at 1245pm. I would assume that the pork chops would be coming fast and furious out of the kitchen on such a day. Understanding that we had a bit of a large group but we've had larger groups before with only maybe a 20 minute wait. Though we expected to take longer than an hour our group ended up having to eat quickly and doggie bag it so we could return to work after a 2+ hour lunch."

We put that in the reservation notes and the waiter the manager and the chef all acknowledged that they got the information and would adjust anything they could to make it safe for her. Even asked if they cooked on the same cooking top if that would be a problem... Which it is. Also changed out their water bottles that are stored in the same refridgerator with lemons just to make sure. Very impressed with the level of concern and detail to ensure we had a wonderful evening and not a trip to the ER after an EPI pen. Thanks Perry's!!"

They had originally sat at a table close to the front door, every time the door opened we got a chill. So upon our request, we were gladly moved to an interior table away from the door.   • "Love the restaurant. But POOR lunch service. Everyone came and went around us, and yet MY table was still waiting for their lunch 55 mins after we ordered. I dont blame the restaurant, i blame the server. I dont beleive he put in our lunch order after he put in the appetizers. Rather than admitting fault, he acted as if this was a normal time to be served lunch, and hour after you got there! I have been before, and got our lunch within 15 mins, i will not go back again for lunch. My company doesnt approve up us taking 1 hour 45 mins lunches on a regular basis."
