Our server was fun and charismatic, and the service overall felt suitably formal to fit Perry's dimly lit, dark-wood, candlelit Chicago steakhouse atmosphere. The calamari and tuna tartar were fantastic, as were the filet minon and giant pork chop entree. The manager came by to confirm our son's food allergy, and seemed very confident and reassuring. However, our waiter, although otherwise great, didn't follow up on a few food allergy questions we had asked him, or seemed a little confused about who at our table had the allergy and what the allergy was. There are so few tree nuts on the menu that I felt comfortable anyhow, but the staff could use a bit more allergy training."

  • "It was our wedding anniversary. Overall, it was very nice. Service was excellent. Appetizers and soups were great. Complimentary deserts were nice. Portions can be sometimes overwhelming, so this is great. Steaks are dry aged and I ordered mine medium-rare. The steak from inside was cooked to perfection, but on the outside, it was a bit over-burned, which ruined some of the taste."

  • "As is the case with many steak restaurants the food & service is good. However with the high prices they could at least include a salad or cup of soup. I had a cowboy steak, my wife had the filet with 3 sauces and my in-laws had a pork chop and a shish ka-bob. The baked onion soup is very good. The appetizers of potatoe's and one with corn were good, but again really over priced. It was my wife's birthday and we of course let her pick the restaurant. $295.00 for 4 people was a bit too much. Only will return for another special occasion. There are too many other quality steak restaurants at lower prices."

  • "We've enjoyed dinners at a number of fine restaurants and found Perry's to be one of the best; it's in our top 3. The food was outstanding and complimented by exceptional service. We started with drinks at the bar and the bartenders, Veronica and Mitch, were the greatest. They were attentive yet not pushy; a great start to our evening. We can't say enough good things about the meal. The menu offers a nice selection of products and great sides. The deserts are scrumptious. Bottom line - we'll be back. Highly recommend Perry's."

  • "You can't beat service but both my spouse and I thought the food was good, but just good, for the price. It was not above average for the price. Salad was good, not great. Soup was good, not great. Steaks were good, not great. Sides were ok. I'm all for rubs on the meat, but all spouse and I could taste is salt on the meat and the potatoes. I ate the potatoes the next day and they were better. We dont mind high prices but it was not out of the ordinary. The service was out of this world though. Kudos on all the staff. Would I recommend to a friend? ehh, I wouldn't steer them away, but I wouldn't say go out of your way to spend this kind of money."

  • "This past Saturday evening was our first visit to Perry's and we found it to be very good. Our service was excellent and our server was very knowledgeable. Our steaks were done as ordered. Our side of potatoes was extremely salty and overdone. The ambience was very good but the a/c did not seem to be working and our server said they were having some problems with it. Perry's is a good place, but in my opinion not quite up to the standard of some of its competitors. We will give it another try in the near future."

I went with 2 girlfriends and we split an appetizer, two got an entree salad (one with steak) and my other friend had chicken .... plus four drinks and the tab was $140."

We had great service; very knowledgable and friendly to help us with our wine selection and food. One thing we noticed was how our waitress seemed to encourage us to take our time and to enjoy the "Perry" experience. The pork chop was a unique, delicious experience and my steak was amazing. On the way out my wife's comment was how everything had been "perfect". We will definitely be back!"

The food , pork chop and bone in Rib eye was one of the most incredible and done exactly as we discussed. We appreciated Howard, Gen. Mngr, stopping by and was very good with guests as well as his staff. We have told many friends and hope it doesn't get to busy to find a table when we want to come back with other couples."

  • "Great food, great atmosphere, service slightly off.............. Our main waiter was great, just the right balance of information and suggestions. The servers were just a little off as compared to prior visits. I had the pork chop (how they call 7 fingers a chop, I don't know) and it was outstanding. However they didn't explain the different cuts of the chop and didn't give me the extra plate for the bones etc with the apple sauce. Additionally, my daughter had lobster and we had to ask for the drawn butter. Like I said a couple of minor things. All in all a great experience and we will be back."

  • "Made a 5:00 reservation. Arrived at 4:00 for drinks and appts at the bar. Hostess informed us at 5:00 our table was ready. Ushered 12 people to the hostess stand and then decided our table was not ready. Back to the bar for another drink for 20 minutes. By this time our bar bill totaled $200 with 6 out-of 12 poeple drinking. Finally, sent us to our table and after complaining to the manager, he responded that appts at the table would be on the house - but we already had 4 orders of appts. We suggested a round of drinks on the house? Which he gladly agreed to. Beautiful place, but too loud for the elderly. Great service, nice presentation of food, food tasted just fair. Will only frequent the bar for drinks and appts in the future."

  • "We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before our reservation and were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated. The staff was very attentive to our LOs, taking the time to interact with them and even stowed away the stroller until our departure. Our waiter shared the restaurant history and specials without being pushy. My husband's lamb was cooked perfectly and the filet mignon was well done without being dry. Our water glasses were never empty, but this was done in the most non-invasive way I have experienced. Having the banana fosters prepared tableside was an unexpected treat. The main dining area layout allows for private conversations as well as interacting with your neighboring diner, if you choose."
