For appetizers I had the Asian Ahi Tuna Tartare and my husband had the chopped salad with Applewood bacon. The Asian Ahi Tuna Tartare is my favorite! It was a great place to celebrate a special occasion. I love the way it is quiet, you could have a nice quiet conversation at your table .
If I should recommend some improvements I think they could turn the light up just a tad as it would be a lot easier to read the menu that way and I must say I found the price of the food a tad bit to high. It was a special occasion, our 55th anniversary, and we weren't disappointed in our choices. I had the surf and turf and my husband chose the sea bass. Both were very good. We were with friends who enjoyed lamb chops and the impressive pork chop we had heard so much about. Our waitress, Grace, was kind enough to split the salad for two. Right amount of salad when you are going to tackle the Friday lunch special pork chop. The "lunch cut" pork chop was equally delicious and HUGE! I finished about half of the chop and brought the rest home. Grace recommended we use the leftovers to make tacos which we did. Even the tacos were incredible. Don't skimp, go for their special order chocolate molten cake. It's like heaven on a plate. Large enough to share with your significant other, but once you taste it, you wish you got your own. The lighting is subdued, giving a private ambiance in a busy restaurant. Service was excellent, as was the food. I would recommend the spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette. We both had steaks as entrees (bone in NY strip for me and chateaubriand for my wife). They were very well prepared with melt in your mouth tenderness.
After declining dessert, we were pleasantly surprised by the server with a Perry's taster dessert with a candle and a Happy Birthday piped on the plate.

It is, indeed, amazing. And plenty for two. My husband was a bit disappointed with his steak as it was topped with a lot of melted butter. Would have rather it just been grilled and not adorned with unnecessary grease. Baked potatoes were acceptable.
