It is always beautifully done and well served. This was a luncheon with friends who will be away for the summer. Perry's was busier than usual. Unbeknownst to us, they were serving the first 100 guests the Pork Chop Luncheon for 79cents to celebrate the restaurant's anniversary. Perry's was full, vibrant and a bit hectic. We nicely guided to a single table for four in the wine room; a virtual sanctuary and a great place to have a small business meeting. Our server Omar was charming and terrific at his work. On our most recent visit (06/01/13) we were there for a 35th wedding anniversary. We were placed to a very noisy table with very high treffic....I was just about ready to leave without eating when the manager noticed that I was not happy.....He moved us to a musch quiter and overall musch better table.
The service and attention from that point on was great.
Perry's is on the high priced side to me.....we usually spend $125.00 to $150.00 per person but the quality of the food and wine and great service make it well worht the cost.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for a late lunch dateWe often go here 2PM or later on Friday. After an appetizer of fried asparagus with lump crab meat we decided to share the pork chop... but we couldn't finish. Stuffed, we asked for the desert (Rocky Road Bread Pudding) to-go. The Calamari is prepared with Cherry Peppers. I never had it this way. It gave it a wonderful flavor and kick. I had to stop myself from eating it so I could save room for my steak. The steak was juicy, prepared how I asked and very flavorful. The potatoes were absolutely tasty. It was cheesy and flavored so perfectly. The Sidecar topped this dinner off. It had a hint of sweetness. It was strong though. We both had one. (he had tw!o) So its fruity enough for woman and strong enough for a man. We like Perry's Steakhouse. Always a pleasure to eat here. We ate early so it was pretty quiet. Chuck took excellent care of us. I started with the escargot which was absolutely wonderful. The buttermilk vinigrette dressing was a delightful twist to my husband's wedge salad. Both of our filet mignons were cooked to perfection and the au gratin potatoes are delicious. The surprise chocolate lava cake and chocolate dipped strawberries were a delightful dessert surprise Chuck brought out for our anniversary, compliments of the house.
