Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - ChampionsPerfect dinning experienceMy husband and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary here this past week and couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. We ate early so it was pretty quiet. Chuck took excellent care of us. I started with the escargot which was absolutely wonderful. The buttermilk vinigrette dressing was a delightful twist to my husband's wedge salad. Both of our filet mignons were cooked to perfection and the au gratin potatoes are delicious. The surprise chocolate lava cake and chocolate dipped strawberries were a delightful dessert surprise Chuck brought out for our anniversary, compliments of the house. Even though I botched the reservation thru Open Table, they responded on short notice and accommodated us. The table presentation was great with rose pedals added as a nice touch. The staff was very professional and definitely know how to make you feel special. I highly recommend the petite surf & turf with a nice bottle of wine. Unlike other steakhouses, Perry's is not stuffy and pretentious. The filet mignon and pork chop are excellent. The pork chop served at dinner is huge. It could be shared by 2-3 people. We ordered banana foster for our dessert. They will make it in front of you. It was delicious. There wasn't enough banana for the 4 of us but there's plenty of ice cream. Our waitstaff was very accomodating and polite. The other staff are friendly and really makes you feel special. One of the ushers even let my daughter borrow her cardigan because she was cold. I love the ambiance and the decor. I wanted to take him somewhere nice. This was the perfect spot. The staff is flawlessly trained without being scripted or annoying. The food is excellent although I recommend sharing as portions are big and most people were carrying out to-go bags. I'm still dreaming about the shrimp cocktail! So sweet and fresh!! Also, the warm chocolate cake is totally worth the 25 minute mandatory wait. Our evening was very special. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions. Leave the kids at home. I just have a few feed back. The drink order could of come a lot sooner. When my husband ordered Mcellan drink the waiter explained the various years they had in stock and my husband chose what he wanted. The waiter had to come back a few minutes later explaining that the different years have different price. I think if someone chose to eat at this place would know they will have to pay for their drink and food choices. It was insulting. On my Italian salad I think they can take it easy on the black pepper...I couldn't eat more than 2 bites of it. The response to it was outstanding! This is the first time the fillet had a very hard piece of fat across the steak. could not chew it. I chose not to bring it up because I was with a very important client. A $42.00 steak should be better inspected.

I gave her open choice, so I didn't initially make reservations at any establishment. Perry's came to mind, being close by and late. I checked online regarding hours and came across Open Table. I made reservations, easy and simple to use! We were greeted at the hostess both by name as we came in and were immediately seated. It was a great experiance and I would recommend the ease of use of Open Table to anyone. I look forward to using Open Table in the future. Thank you for the great experierence.

That was my 5th visit to Perry's in Chamions and the overall experience gets better every time. The servers are prompt, polite and knowledgable of the menu. The GM was great as well, called and confirmed our reservations and had the server add a special little touch of rose petals to our table for our anniversary. Whether its their amazing lunch time special on the best porkchop around, or a romantic night, this is definitely the place to go!

The food was excellent and the waitstaff very knowledgeable about wines and the food menu. It was a bit noisy due to a retirement party. There are all kinds of nooks and crannies relative to seating and since I was there with my special someone, we were seated in a romantic area. The pork chop is phenomenal, way too much for one person! And after 4pm on Sunday, it's 24.95 a person for a salad, pork chop, and dessert! You can't beat that price for this kind of food and service. Have been a few times before, and always enjoy. Steaks cooked right and sides that great! The spinach & bacon salad is great start, as is the polish sausage. If the place has downside, it would have to be that when they have live music in the lounge, its hard to have a conversation in the dining room.
