Quality of food very disappointing. We had to séné back a plate which was over spicy: not eztable. Globally, not interesting expérience. It is almost impossible to see what is in Yout platel due to lavi of light.

I have only visited a one or two restaurants in my life that would compare with perry street. The waitstaff were all very relatable and attentive, they paid attention to our needs and didn't bother us when we didn't need anything. The ambiance was modern, with low lighting and simple. Very romantic. The food was world class. Every bite held a thought out array of flavors.

I went there with my family for brunch and I will definitely go back to have dinner beacause the food is really great and I want to taste more dishes. The setting is modern and accurate, full of natural light because of the big windows, partially facing the river. The service was a little slow.

Where to begin/reprimanded 4 being 15 min late then sitting @table w/menus 4 20 min B/4 drinks requested - another 10 for wine/justservjust when you thought service couldn't get worse 15 min to take your ccard.. Food was not any better/calamari so sogy it looked like overcooked pasta /filet sea bass ok but presentation with 1 mushroom floret that would make a diner proud. Rabbit ok if you like fire {spicy not the word} in your mouth. And on and on. I should give it another try, but then again w/all that's out there, let's not and say we did..

Jean Georges never fails. We have visited most of his restaurants in NYC and Perry Street is no exception. The Prix Fixe lunch is a bargain in NYC. Yet at the bargain price, JG provides the best quality food, elegantly served with a service quality which is second to none. I am a foodie and rarely visit a restaurant twice unless it is exceptional. I will visit Perry street again and again and recommend to my friends. JG and team, congratulations for keeping me happy. Cheers to your culinary art and exceptional service.

Having brunch at Perry Street was an uplifting and wonderful dining experience. I had not been to the restaurant since it closed and reopened due to hurricane damage and realized how much I missed it! The service is welcoming, attentive and very gracious. The moment you enter Hilary, the Maitre d, adds a personal touch to your visit . The ambience is upbeat, bright and refreshing. We both had the prix fixe Autumn brunch menu. It was very well priced and all items were delicious and meticulously prepared. The cocktails were equally generous and great. I always feel that being at Perry Street is a unique Manhattan experience. It has a very NYC current vibe , but feels calming and lacks frenzy.

The chef menu for 28$ for brunch is great! I had the salmon sashimi in coconut broath as an appetizer and it was delicious and subtile/. The bacon burger was not the best, but it was ok, and the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream was just perfect. Good value for a nice place!

I took a group of 7 to this restaurant and had to meet farm-to-fork fans who are vegetarian, vegan, and carnivores. Delicious dining options were exquisitely presented and everyone was happy. The grilled octopus and the beet salads were delicious starters. Finishing with Chocolate mousse sounded boring but we were wrong. Staff helped select wines that went well with a variety of foods. The noise level was light so we could hear each other too.

We used to love to go here for sunday brunch but lately its just off. I think in order to keep the 28 dollar prix fix they have diminished the portion and quality of the food. Last week everything we ordered medium was almost raw. How do you send slow cooked salmon back? My tuna burger was still alive and the molton chocolate cake was like the Mississippi river. I hope they get it back together because its a really nice place with a great staff.

My only negative comment is that the portions are very small. Everyone in my family is slender and tall and to be honest, although we weren't hungry after dessert I would say neither did we feel completely satisfied. The portions of the appetizer and the main course could have been 25% greater. The dessert portion however was perfect as I find too many desserts in many restaurants are too large.

Overall great experience, the food was fantastic! Cocktail list was extensive and quite exotic, all the drinks we tried were amazing and tasty. Service was good but waiter was a little negative when asked questions about the cocktail list and menu. The waiter should have asked more questions to get a sense of what the customer would like rather than knocking down items on the menu.

Food is flawless and seasonal specialty cocktails are all well conceived. Gorgeous(think chic, lush but yet still minimal) space. What is so nice about Perry St is that you can truly have a fabulous meal and hold a conversation(without yelling) at a major downtown restaurant in NYC. A rarity. Get the fried chicken-even if just to put in the middle of the table for everyone to have a taste-will be an instant addict!

Probably one of the best places to go for a quiet lunch. Geographically challenged on West Street and Perry, but it's worth the trip for the food alone. Lunch is ideal for quiet meetings, and can easily accommodate a large group. The evenings are quite different. Currently with a $28 prix fix lunch menu, hope it continues. There are only a few restaurants like this left in the city. JG at Columbus Circle has a more impressive decor, with real table cloths at lunch, and is usually busier but also a great lunch. Highly recommend Perry St

Had the American Caviar (Golden Fried Eggs with Vodka Cream), Grilled Loin with Crispy Leg of Rabbit, Tri-Star Strawberries and a complimentary Chocolate Pudding. I usually order the same dishes whenever I go to Perry St - they didn't have the pea soup, so I tried the caviar. The fried eggs looked interesting but it didn't really have a taste. The caviar tasted like caviar. For the main course I usually order the chicken, but I always wanted to try rabbit. Bit of a mistake, the rabbit leg was bland too, although the loin was ok. A bit disappointed, I almost didn't order dessert. I'm glad I did! The strawberries were delicious, and the pudding with crystalized violets is to die for. I know now to stick to chicken and leave room for dessert.

We had a lovely brunch at Perry Street this Labor Day Weekend. The menu was varied and ranged from traditional brunch items to lunch specialties which included poached lobster, sushi and their signature fried chicken. Brunch items included great pancakes, french toast and a variety of unique egg dishes. Wines were superb and service was spot on. This is a lovely, bright, modern restaurant located steps from the Battery Park promenade. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner.

We love Perry street and come as often as we can. The view, the service, the wine, the food, can't be beat. I love the tuna rice rolls and the salads, and the entrees are sophisticated but not gratuitously busy. My only beef is with the desserts. We had three desserts at the table and I would not order a single one of them again. The chocolate had too much fresh mint and came off as bitter and medicinal (the ice cream matched it in herbal strength), the olive oil ice cream begged the question "why?", and the strawberry desert came with leathery dried strawberry coins that were conversation-stoppers. Still the appetizers and entrees were blissful, the restaurant lively but not deafening and the service top notch. Of course we'll be back!
