Everyone at our party ordered something different with a sampling of cocktails, appetizers, meals and desserts and each dish had excellent flavor, great portion sizes and presentations and was overall, incredible. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had and I would strongly recommend trying it out when in New York! The rice cracker crusted tuna had a great, mildly flavored crust that added texture and didn't take away from the tuna. An the sriracha/mayo sauce added a great hint of spice. For our entrees, we had the fried chicken and the lamb chops. Fried chicken was boneless and excellent, with a sauce on the side that compared to an outstanding buffalo sauce. I couldn't get enough of it. The lamb was very high quality meat, and came with a crispy artichoke that I wish I could make at home.
It's a very cool scene - not overly crowded or noisy. Great place for a date. The food is always delicious and the service is always wonderful. Don't forget to have a cocktail at the bar, the bartenders are like scientists back there. My friend and I ordered the sea bass served in a basil broth with a grilled maitake on the side, which was delightful for someone who normally doesn't like mushrooms (me). We had a bottle of wine from the Rhone valley and homemade brie and pear deserts. The place had a fun, charged atmosphere on a Friday night.
