A word from Percy's & Co - Seattle

A blend of restaurant and bar with an atmosphere true to Old Town Ballard. With a "Farm to Table" and a "Farm to Bar" base, Percy's focuses on local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients in both they cocktails and their food. The food program is lead by Chef Dave Lamping, one of Seattle's up and coming young chefs to watch. His approach to food is unexpected while remaining very straight forward and approachable. The bar program, with its apothecary inspired libations incorporates seasonal produce, juices & purees made fresh daily and herbal tinctures in creating incredibly innovative cocktails by combining out of the ordinary ingredients and house infused spirits.

Diner Reviews
  • "I'd never been here before, but the menu looked awesome and my Dad and I were excited to try it. It was sparsely filled when we got there. We asked our server what he suggested from the brunch menu. The Eggs Benedict...we both ordered it. They serve it 3 different ways, I chose the traditional version--my Dad, the smoked salmon. We waited 40 minutes, and it came out cold. They had replaced my Canadian bacon with fat-speckled slices of grey pork tenderloin, that was apparently being used "for right now". I probably would've ordered something else if given the choice. The location was awesome. The people were friendly and the drinks looks like they are worth a try. I just think the place may be better as a bar trip than as a food destination."

  • "We went for the great deck and happy hour. The ambiance and service were lovely, but the food was a little disappointing. The appetizer of pork rillettes was odd - a jar of pulled pork with a layer of cold fat on top. Not as appetizing as we'd hoped. The other appy's were tasty, but then dessert was also a miss. The peanut butter mousse was way too heavy and intense for a mousse. We'll go again but order something else."

  • "Between the two of us we shared 5 different cocktails, with ingredients including watermelon, pear, and lime juices, in house grown herb infused liquors. They were all amazing. The food we ordered was just as great. Lovely flavors with unique ingredients. I wanted to go back the next night!"

  • "I have been to Percy and Co. several times, but never for brunch before.. I can only say- WOW! Food was yummy.. Service amazing... and live music was an added bonus. PERFECT spot for brunch- I want to go back there every weekend."

  • "My husband and I had previously been to Percy's for Happy Hour and loved the cocktails. Will will not be back for dinner. First, the timing was off. My husband and my salads were served at the same time my friend's main course arrived. Her husband received the wrong item and it had to be returned. My entrée was served at the same time my friend's salad was served to her. Then her husband finally received his meal. Second, the food was so-so. The beet salad and Porchetta were good, but the chicken was salty, the carrots were overcooked, the salmon entrée was a joke, and there was hardly any salmon in the Smoked Salmon salad. Third, the service was aloof and unwelcoming. This is a good place for cocktails. Not for a nice meal."

  • "This place takes the cake for fun cocktails. And their Sunday brunch is to die for. Make sure to get the mimosa fleet so you can have a few different flavors of yummy breakfast drinks!"

  • "While the bar in this restaurant and interior is quite nice, the back "patio" room leaves a lot to be desired. We were seated here for Mother's Day and it certainly wasn't what we hoped for. The room looks unfinished with picnic tables. Inside, the restaurant is quite loud. It is a good bar in the evening with craft cocktails but we won't return for brunch."

  • "Took my mom here for Mother's Day and she really enjoyed it. Our server was I friendly and helpful and the brunch was excellent. Noise level was great until about 20 minutes before we left when a musical duo started playing music, which honestly was a little too loud for the space, but we still had a great time. "

  • "My date and I visited Percy's on a Wednesday night. We were immediately greeted by a staff member near the bar. When I told him I had a reservation, he already knew that I had made a special request to sit at the bar (impressive!). The booths looked too cozy to pass up, so he let us take a seat wherever we'd like. The cocktail selection at this place is very extensive, but not intimidating. Our server was VERY knowledgeable of the offerings and made great recommendations. I highly recommend the "sweetest taboo" cocktail, salted cod fritters, and the lamb shoulder... those were some of the stand-out items we ordered. Was also blown away by the honey gem lettuce salad! Too many great sounding items on the menu so we will be returning soon!"

  • "We had a wonderful time at Percy's. The food was great (the chicken is amazing!) and service was attentive yet not hovering. The shaved asparagus crostini = pure happiness for my taste buds. The drinks were unique and yummy too. I'll definitely go back. The back deck looks great for larger groups and nice days. "

  • "Taylor was our server and he was wonderful (great personality), but everyone there was very attentive to our needs. The food was great, I had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, and it was yummy."

  • "Percy's was popping on an Easter Sunday, but in spite of the crowd, they turned out some good food. Eggs Benedict in the mark and smoked salmon rillettes which were very tasty. "

  • "The wait person was good humored and attentive. The coffee maker had a glitch and when we got our coffee it had some grounds in it (for the last 2 to get their pour). The entrees took quite awhile to arrive. The table setting was not on our table and we had to ask for it after our food arrived. It was a perfect seating arrangement for us outside with fewer distractions.l"

  • "We were there on a quiet Tuesday night. My date and I are not a cocktail drinkers and couldn't be persuaded to order one, so the bartender made us tiny shot size cocktails and served it with our salad. The fennel salad was bright & refreshing. They split our soup for us. Yay! Always a nice move when you are eating family style, esp. since the sun choke soup was AMAZING!! There could have been a fight over the bowl. The gnocchi was super fluffy & light. The pork shank was perfect and just fell off the bone. For desert we had the pot of chocolate, it was thick & creamy more of a mousse than a pudding but who cares? It was delicious. Finally when we ordered coffee the waitress made a special pot just for us, and seemed happy to please."

  • "Percy's & Co. in the heart of Ballard, across from the Ballard Inn, is authentic Seattle with just the right mix of history and modern. The cocktails and tinctures were fun and delicious. There is a private party room, which feels like an open air garden and there are long communal tables for groups. The historic building has been lovingly preserved. We were a party of three. We shared an albacore tuna appetizer (delicious) and we all three ordered the pork dip sandwich on french baguette (fresh, tasty). Our server was professional and a delight. Thank you, Percy's. I will be back."

  • "They should not have a reservation system because it is open seating and when we arrived all the booths were taken. They seemed not to be expecting our reservation."
