Perch PubGreat place for lunch beforeGreat place for lunch before an afternoon show on Broad street. Very pleased that online reservation system worked so well. The service is friendly and reasonably quick and the food fresh and good. They have many beers on tap which they rotate daily. Last night my husband had they lamb burger special and I had the mahi mahi special with julianned vegetables. It was the best meal we've had there to date.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMPerch Pub always accommodatesPerch Pub always accommodates our needs, whether one of our party is going to be late, we have to get to a show, or we ask them what the ingredients are in a specific dish. Friendly service, eager-to-please wait staff and host, an all-around good experience!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGood for pre-theatre lunchThe location, right across the street from the Academy of Music, makes this a great place for lunch before or after a show. Not a super-extensive menu, but a good variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, entrees. I had the soup-of-the day, which was a velvety butternut squash, scented with sage, & it was divine! The Mediterranean sandwich was a winner, too, & served w/ mixed greens, was enough to take half home for the next day. The view down Broad Street for tables in the front is a bonus.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWe will definitely go backMy husband & I went to Perch Pub after going to the Walnut Street Theatre. It was a beautiful day out and we thought we go somewhere new. What a find it was, we will definitely go back!!! Our waitress, Melissa was wonderful:-)
I had the 'Mediterranean Melt' which included grilled eggplant & squash, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, carrots & spinach with melted cheese on a foccocia/ciabatta roll. This was absolutely wonderful, I loved it:-) My husband had the 'Apple Salad' with arugula, apples, candied walnuts, blue cheese, red onions, with a light vinaigrette drsg. with a whole chicken breast added to it. He also really, liked it. We both started with the soup of the day which was Potato Leek, which we both thoroughly enjoyed.
