Al fresco dining at its best. Be certain to wear a jacket even though heaters are provided. We had excellent service and really enjoyed the french fries as an appetizer, and the escolar and bouillabaisse for entrees. The chocolate dessert and berries with whipped cream were also delicious. Both bars were very crowded and noisy, but the dining area was separate and very special with outstanding city views.

Aside from the long wait (even though we had reservations), our visit was great. Very cool vibe, good food, GREAT view and wonderful ambiance. My girlfriends and I had a great time. I would definitely recommend and come again.

Seabass dish just ok, ratatouille just ok, salmon tartar just fair. The best food was, surprisingly, the French fries. Could not get to know the bar over the restaurant, there was a line, same treatment for diners and non-diners!

Definitely more of a bar/lounge than dinning place. The dining might not be so bad if you get to sit outside, unfortunately our reservation was at 10:00 and got sat inside. This was extremely annoying as it slowly got louder and louder until we ended up yelling across the table to talk to each other. People were waiting in line right next to our table to go up to the bar. The food menu was very limited and it didn't help that they ran out of 2 out of 4 entrees we ordered. I would go back for happy hour but for dinner, never again! Best thing they have going is the view.

If you are heading downtown LA for any reason, stop here and enjoy. The art deco feel and look, the view, the outdoor (14 stories up)areas are all worth the trip. And, while I enjoyed the food, I have had better French cuisine. But, that being said, we really enjoyed our meal.

The ambiance of the restaurant definitely transports you to a Parisian cafe. The food was hit and miss. Baked brie was uninspired. French onion soup fabulous. The Escolar was incredible, the steak just average. We enjoyed the meal but I will say that the service was a bit lacking. Personable waiter but not attentive and the pacing of the meal could have been better.

Overall it's a solid French bistro-inspired experience with enjoyable food and cocktails. It takes more than a great view though to make up for mediocre service and lack of attention to customer comfort. The heaters are mild if working at all and when the major draw is sitting outside to take in the view from the roof, the heaters should be cranking. Host and hostess staff are bored hipsters who are visibly annoyed at having to work and would clearly rather be anywhere than at the front asking if you have a reservation or not. Servers seem unclear as to which tables are theirs and we ended up at the "invisible" table where everyone acts like you aren't there and avoids eye contact lest you ask for something. 30 minutes in before ordering!

Food was good and ambiance even better. The only thing I was disappointed with was the length of time it took for the escolar dish to come out. When we were told that it was coming up, we waited at least another 20 minutes before the dish arrived. Fortunately, my friend and I shared the dish so we were able to eat quickly and not miss our show at the Disney concert hall.
