Stylish Eastern Mediterranean Cuisine with an emphasis on mezes and grilled meats. Join us for a selection of mezes and appetizers or opt for main course, including the Pera Tradition tasting menu, and let us take you through a journey of flavors.

Lunch and dinner menu is served Monday - Friday, brunch and dinner is served on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekend brunch also features a $21 prix-fixe menu and a $19 unlimited brunch cocktails option.

Wine & Meze Happy Hour special nightly at the bar & lounge. Pre-Theater Prix-Fixe Menu (three-course) for $35 from 5:30PM - 7:30PM.

What a pleasant surprise! The ambiance was great, great staff, great wine list, great food.. not a single thing to complain about! They also have a brunch menu so I definitely will be going back with my friends in the very near future!"

  • "The food is quite good, but the noise level is ridiculous. I went to Pera for a business lunch, and at some point, thumping music became extremely annoying. By 12:45, we were having trouble hearing each other and went back to the office for tea. It was impossible to talk. This is a problem, that is fixable -- turn off the music."

  • "We had dinner fro four arriving around 8:00. Noise level was pretty high initially but we were able to hold conversation without difficulty. It got much quieter as the evening went on. We were expecting great food and the food exceeded our expectations. We had the meze sampler and calamari appetizers- both fantastic. We tried the signature lamb and the mushroom pappardelle entrees, both equally fantastic. Waitress was attentive, friendly and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant."

When we arrived at our table the manager himself was there laying down large plates of appetizers as an apology for our wait, gave us his card and told us to call him for our next visit. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. The wine was excellent, the staff was knowledgeable, food was amazing. I preferred the lamb over the chicken. There was a pear desert that I didn't get excited about until it was in my mouth dissolving, making love to my taste buds. A single girl could get used to this kind of sensation. Then I sat up, realized I was not alone, and I'd been satisfied by a fruit. I told my daddy about him, the pear in a cherry wine sauce..."

  • "Appetizer - Mediterranean Meze Platter - This was very good, I enjoyed have a chance to sample different dips. My favorite was probably the sheep's milk feta with housemade eggplant jam. They work extremely well together, believe it or not. Main - Marinated Lamb “Shaslik” Steak - Also very good! Cooked to perfection (medium well) no lamb taste so I think it was seasoned very well. Served with rice that was pretty good as well. Dessert - Poached Winter Pear - Extremely sweet, almost to the point where it's nauseating. I admit I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was a bit crazy. Service - Started off good but after we placed our orders we were attended to by only serving staff. Ambience - Decor and mood was excellent"

  • "I went to Pera for a birthday dinner with friends on a Saturday night. It was a quiet evening and I can tell that this place is more popular during the week due to its location. My friends and I ordered a selection of appetizers to share and each got an entrée for ourselves. Several of us had a chicken dish. I must say I preferred the appetizers over the entree. I was a little disappointed in the service as it was quite slow given how few people were around. I would go back here again as the menu was quite unique. If you are looking for a mediterranean restaurant in the area, it is the best I have tried to date."

The mussels were so good, the broth could be a soup. Fortunately I had bread to capture the "dregs". Salmon was delicious and superior to the lamb Adana. So Pera can hold its own with a variety of cuisines. the atmosphere is perfect for conversation with the tables well-spaced."

We felt uncomfortable cheating the restaurant and told the staff. They fixed adding significantly to our bit but correctly so. Then it took simply forever to get anyone to take our credit card and by this time we had long been ready to leave."

  • "My wife and I stopped in here for dinner while were in the city for the weekend and really enjoyed our experience. The food was great and the service wonderful. My wife is pregnant and our server was very accommodating and even brought over a fresh juice drink for her (and a nice treat for me, too!). The decor was very nice for couples looking for a quiet meal. The location is close to Rockefeller Center, the shops on Fifth Avenue, and TImes Square (where we walked from). We will certainly consider another meal at Pera next time we are in town."
