Diner Reviews
  • "The service is attentive and the food is not your every day Italian restaurant"

  • "...to this gem. 3 of us dined. The house salad and the Caesar salads were perfect- crispy/tender with delicious dressings. The stuffed long hots were a great starter-the sausage and cheese complementing the heat of the peppers. Veal Sinatra was tender and flavorful. The special pasta Luca Brazzi had the most delicious but simple topping of tomatoes, olive oil and capers. It had tuna on it also - I,the vegetarian, had it without the tuna, and it lacked NOTHING in taste. Lots of vegetarian items here, and they can personalize the dishes. If you hae not been, GO!"

  • "Bar atmosphere, South a Philly taste and freshness. Great appetizers, fresh, fresh salad with nice vinaigrette. Super homemade pappardelle? Gnocchi, tin crust pizza, fish and much more. Highly recommended. ."

  • "This restaurant has three locations, and it's Conshohocken location appears small from the outside. The restaurant gets crowded on weekends because of its limited seating as much as due to its popularity. The food is good, and the service is excellent. I'd recommend for a group or a date."

  • "New Conshy favorite. Food was amazing and wine deal awesome. Great with my 6 year old also"

  • "The food was so delicious and so fresh. Everything was outstanding!"

  • "Came here for brunch, ordered venison sausage atop sweet cabbage, Tomato soup, brussel sprouts, smoked salmon arugula pizza. The brussel sprouts were the star of the brunch. The venison didn't have that much taste but the cabbage it was paired with was very good. The tomato soup was average, and the pizza was a disappointment. There was potential, but you couldn't taste the salmon which made the pizza lack any flavor. The decor of the restaurant is nice and rustic and service was excellent."

  • "This restaurant is several paces from my house. When I moved here, I tried it for the first time 2 years ago and it left me horribly speechless. But I thought I would try it again because I always give a restaurant a second chance in case there's a bad night, but I knew there were no excuses for multiple dishes with bad pairings. The appetizers were good: moist meatballs and a very good red sauce and stuffed peppers. The entrees were not great . I had the sausage with pappardelle. The pasta wasn't fully cooked and it isn't al dente, just almost crunchy. The sauce was almost inedible salty. The Braised Beef cheeks which did not have any flavor nor as tender and the mashed potatoes were powdery-- using the wrong kind of potato?"

  • "I had a great first time experience, however, it was super loud on a Friday night around 8:15PM for dinner."

  • "We have friends that we dine with a few times a year and we take turns treating. We also want to make a good impression. We had been to this restaurant and liked it both times, so we were not concerned about taking someone there for the first time. You can count on good food in a nice neighborhood environment . The tables are tight, but you make it work. Nice bar, parking is a bit of a challenge, but we always find something."

  • "Quality of food and seasoning were tops- very fresh and perfectly cooked. Parking is tough- the only hindrance."

  • "The drinks were fabulous and the overall ambiance was good. Would definitely recommend it for the bar scene. Some of our group's entree food was cold and entrees could go up a notch. Pizza, salads and appetizers were very good though."

  • "The wait between appetizer and main course was very long. The food was good, but not great. We have been here before and like it more the first time, so we will give it another try."

  • "Our dining experience was perfect. Our waiter, Eric, was extemely helpful with recommendations, and appeared genuinely happy to be there. We were friends by the end of the night! Fantastic beer and wine list... food was excellent. Overall ambiance is what you go to Pepperocini for. Attracts a great crowd, great music - - we're going back again for the half-price seafood night!"

  • "AWESOME place to grab a drink and can also be great for a romantic dinner for two!"

  • "I enjoyed everything about this place. Start to finish, a great dining experience. Friendly staff, fresh food, cozy spot. If I have to find a negative, it is that they don't serve wines by the karafe, and that isn't a dealbreaker."

  • "With so many restaurants now in Conshy, it was a pleasure to finally dine here. Prices were good, food was different than your typical Italian restaurant, menu was interesting and lunch was substantial and tasty."

  • "My overall rating is 4/5 stars. Food and service was excellent. Everyone one of us enjoyed our meals. Bartender was great and very engaged with us. The only downside was that our party of 7 was seated very close to another large party (separated by a wall with an open window). It was difficult to for our group to talk to one another over the noise. My recommendation would be to not place large groups so close together."

  • "My coworkers and I eat at Pepperoncini's regularly and this was the first time I brought a big group - we were 18. The little back room was perfect for the group and the servers were accommodating while our guest number kept increasing. The specials are always great and I almost always order from that menu. No one I have brought has been disappointed in their meal. Sandwiches, pasta, chicken, salads, pizza... they're all good. The calamari and green sauce are fantastic - try them! The only downside is that it can be a rather long lunch, but plan for it because it's worth it. It's pretty noisy despite the small dining room so I wouldn't recommend it for a working lunch."

  • "Everyone was very friendly from the minute you walk in the door and the service was excellent. The food was good but a bit overpriced for the type of restaurant. I wouldn't run back anytime soon for the food but if you want a decent meal in the neighborhood with great service I would recommend it."

  • "The food is generally quite good and we looked forward to the stuffed artichokes. Unfortunately, they were so salty they were almost inedible. But everything else made up for it! Will definitely go back for the mussels!"

  • "We had never been before and had heard only good things. We had a reservation but had to wait a while for our table, which was ok since there was room at the bar, so we had a drink while we waited. The waiter was great, the food was good and overall we were all happy. The only downside was how extremely loud it was. We had to shout to hear ourselves talk. Had I'd known, I would have asked for a table further back away from the bar as I do not like shouting to have a conversation."

  • "Everything we had was excellent. Our server was witty and great. The pumpkin ravioli was awesome, calamari also. I can't wait to come back."

  • "First time here, was not what I expected as far as ambience, but the food made up for it. It was a bit noisy due to a large crowd that was sitting near me. I did not mind, but others may have. Otherwise the service was great and so was the food."

  • "We had a very good family dinner at Peperoncini. Reasonably priced, attentive service and well prepared Southern Italian fare. Our meal was very pleasant and just what the doctor ordered for a well paced Sunday night meal."

  • "The small back dining room is more private. Food is freshly prepared; the bread is a bit bland. Service could be more attentive."
