A word from Pepperoncini Italian BYOB Restaurant And Catering
Welcome to Pepperoncini Italian BYOB Restaurant and Catering, a delicious slice of Italy right in the heart of Havertown. Developed from the same authentic recipe as Pepperoncini in Conshohocken and Pepperoncini Sotto in Phoenixville (but just a little closer to home), Pepperoncini Italian BYOB chef/owners Tommy and Dan, will spend as much time chatting and taking care of you as they will making sure you’re well fed.
Walking through the door, you’ll immediately smell the unmistakable aroma of meatballs, pork and sausage simmering for hours in homemade sauce; succulent appetizers, side dishes and desserts; and a “family” that looks forward to seeing you, feeding you, sharing a laugh, and maybe sneaking you a glass of wine.

A large party of twenty in a small byob is really too noisy on a Saturday night. The swift staff handled it well but the noise was deafening!

Having been in Peperoncini when it was a hoagie place/grocery store, the transformation is amazing! The dining room is very attractive and the food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back!

This is our 2nd time within a month dining here. The food is delicious...the wait staff is great. The pasta, especially the Linguini, is the best we've ever had....we actually wish for more pasta per serving it's that good!!!

We enjoyed the meals at our first visit to Pepperoncini, but suffered through a rather chilly climate. The temperature seemed to wildly fluctuate with the cold times rather uncomfortable. Maybe best to visit in the wintertime!

Enjoyed our dinners very much. Chicken parmegina was outstanding. Tira Misu and almond cake were fantastic. Crab cake was disappointing.

We had read both good and not so good reviews, but we decided to try the restaurant out, as it is about 2 minutes from our home. All four of us were very pleasantly surprised. The wait person was very attentive and friendly. We all enjoyed the entrees. The chef/owner came out several times to talk with us. There was a mishap with my friend's special lamb chop order, that had to be redone. They were very embarrassed, and apologized a few times. No big deal. We look forward to returning.

It is too bad that nobody seems to open new restaurants and train the front of the house. Hostess, servers, bus people should not be running around without paying attention to customers. They all scury around doing one single focused task oblivious to what else might be needed by a customer. It creates a very frenetic atmosphere. It’s sad the food was good. I only went there once maybe I try again in a while. Good food has a hard time overcoming a bad experience. Does anyone care about classy service? I am not that old but I have experienced it and worked in restaurants. It does not take longer and it is not harder.

Nice people, looked inexperienced: ex.:Waitress took our bottle of wine away from the table to open it. Food was good, some tables not in great spots as far as kitchen door and front door. Positive - chef came out and conversed with guests, including us, to see how we like the food. I think we will revisit w friends, location is close to home. Room for improvement, but seems achievable.

the first time I went was opening week and my lobster was overcooked I chalked it up to them being very busy that day. The second time I ordered the Maryland crab ravioli it tasted like canned crab and I did not enjoy it.

This is our third visit to Pepperoncini in Havertown. It's a good neighborhood restaurant and only delicious if you order the right entree. I've had great meals here and last night a rather mediocre one. But I will be back and select wisely.

We went to celebrate a birthday there-food was excellent and service good-they pack a lot of tables in close together so not much room to move about. Overall a good dining experience. However from West Chester I won't be driving that far.

The food is the only thing this place has going for it. The food was delicious. Portions could be larger. But the service was painfully slow! They need more servers. Our waitress was sweet, but overworked. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

All selections were tasty and nicely presented. We dined early and the service was speedy! If you require hearty portions(we do not) be sure to order something with pasta for a large serving. Desserts were not impressive, but just okay. We will return soon to try other delicious sounding entrees.

  • Watermelon & fig salads stand out

We loved the stuffed fig salad and also the grilled watermelon on arugula. But none of the four of us was delighted with our entrees, which were bland and over-cheesy. While our server was pleasant and attentive, her hair kept falling in her face and, I feared, in our food. It's good for them that it was crowded on a Saturday night a month after opening but it was impossible to have a quiet conversation.

Great addition to Havertown! Everything we had was very good to outstanding. Big surprise was the cheesesteak egg rolls ordered by my daughter, they were really excellent. She could barely grab one for herself. Service was attentive and personal. Will definitely go back!

I dined at Pepperoncini with two friends not knowing what to expect. I had been to the Conshohocken restaurant with the same name and was thrilled to hear there were opening a location in Havertown. It is apparently now sep owners who were once partners. Everyone loved their first experience. The atmosphere was bet nice and the food was DELICIOUS!! There is free parking on site! Our waitress was a little tentative and slow but that has to be expected at a new place. The staff and owners are very friendly. I will definitely be back.

Whomever is in the kitchen at this Eagle Rd, non descript find sure knows how to cook. Driving by you won't notice this new gem but once you go you will never forget it is there. Heard they just reopened from the previous market storefront. Same owners, thankfully, as Havertown could definitely use a place like this. 11 of us went, had a bit of a wait, but the lovely hostess apologized and opened wine for us outside. Once seated the wait was quickly forgotten as what came from the kitchen was awesome. Service was a little slow, to beexpected with any new place, but once kinks are worked out the line will be out the door -delicious, consistent, and quality. We were Impressed, all 11 of us are planning reservations for this weekend. Go, enjoy!
