The one thing I do need to say is a little more seasoning on some of the food would be great i.e. salt..Of course salt is a preference to everyone but 3 of us had the same opinion. We had tried to eat here several time without reservation but the line was always long. We finally made reservation on OpenTable. The food was awesome. The only complaint we had was the wait. Our reservation was set for 8:30 pm but we did not get our table until 9 pm. It was quite late. I take just about everyone dear to me to accompany me here during my trips to my cabin.
Amy has always been my favorite go-to server and I was very sad to hear she parted off to Las Vegas however, Eric proved to carry Amy's touch high by making my latest experience just as enjoyable as all the others.
Thank you for all you've done and continue to do to make this eatery one of my all time favrites.

This visit we ate there on 23rd May 2013, and as usual was very good. We ate again there on 24th May, 2013 and ordered New York Strip and it wasn't very good (tough). We were definitely not disappointed. We showed up a few minutes before our reservation, which I would recommend, and were seated immediately. The Peppercorn Grille will be a staple for us when we come to Big Bear and I would highly recommend it to anyone I can. The service has always been friendly, helpful and never rushed or hovering. The staff works well with each other sharing tables, so that customers never have to wait if they need something. So far Peppercorn is our favorite of the higher end restaurants in town. The menu is really deep, from pasta and pizza, to steaks, fish and chicken. Only the steaks are priced at the higher end, everything else is very reasonable in my opinion. Appetizer was large, enough for 4 to nibble on, all entres come with salad or soup, the caesar salad we had was much larger than the average side salad. The wine selection is good, with many offered by the glass. Service is solid and not overbearing.

We own a vacation home and always make reservations for dinner when we know we are coming up. So, I made resurvations to take my wife there as part of our 5 year wedding anniversary trip. Our friends were right on. The service was absolutely amazing, above and beyond what I had expected.
