  • Highlight of Our Fall Weekend

Chef Jason's five course surprise offering with wine pairing was a leisurely end to a perfect fall day. The flavours of the various courses were outstanding and matched with generous choices of fine wines from Peller Estate's cellars. Each course was adjusted or changed completely to accommodate my lactose-intolerant guest but still allowed each of our wine pairings to compliment the courses so well that we wanted to linger over every mouthful. To go along with how wonderful as the food and wines were, the service by Erica and our hostess, Rose, made the whole experience a romantic delight. Not a meal for people on a shoe string budget or a tight time line, it was our favourite experience of our whole three-day weekend in NOTL.

A truly wonderful and memorable evening. We were celebrating our anniversary and from the moment we arrived we knew we had made the perfect choice for dinner. The Ice Cuvée tasting was an unexpected treat. We wish we had purchased a bottle at the winery as LCBO did not have it in stock. The portion sizes for the second course ... Interludes ... were very generous. We could have easily enjoyed one together, however it was nice sampling each other's. Our server took the time to inquire about food allergies, and we appreciated the effort which went into modifying a main course selection to meet dietary needs. All wine recommendations were excellent and the atmosphere very relaxing ... we would definitely return.

We were in the area to celebrate our anniversary and the fine folks at Pellar took exceptional care if us. The food was phenomenal. The drink was delectable. The service was personable and so efficient. A great way to celebrate, you must stop for a bite and tour here when you visit the region. Our server Ryan was great, the kitchen staff really made delightful dishes, and Kevin ensured everything was running smoothly. Thanks for the memory!

We were a bit let down by the server because we has the wine paring brunch and felt the the server had little knowledges serving the wines. He only told is the name of the wine but didn't explain why the particular wine pairs with the good served!

We took an important out-of-town guest to dinner at Peller Estates, and they did not disappoint us. We should note that the washroom was nice and clean, and we would love the restaurant to keep it that way always. A nice and clean washroom also serves as a cue for restaurant and service quality!

We have dietary restrictions and once again chef Jason gave us a very interesting and enjoyable variety from the tasting menu choice. This was the first time that we had any disappointment as the beef for one of the courses was not a well cured cut. We will likely be back for tasting menu again.

Dinner at the Peller Estates Winery Restaurant was fantastic! We were seated on the outdoor patio on a beautiful evening and both the dinner and service were superb! Choosing the 5 course chef's menu proved to be a gourmet's delight-delicious, innovative dishes, served in generous portions and at a relaxed pace. Not to be forgotten, the accompanying Estate's wines and cocktails were a fine compliment to an extraordinary evening! I will definitely recommend dining here!

Have been to Peller Estate for dinner on numerous occasions over the years. Always very pleased with the food, and the atmosphere, and the service. On a warm night dinner on the patio is always enjoyable. Try the 5 or 7 course chef special if you are a bit adventurous. You never know what you'll get but worth the surprise.

Food was dull and uninspired lacking in any flavour. Very expensive for the small bits of food served up was expecting more. Ordered Chefs surprise for lunch 5 courses with wine 125 dollars. Only flavour came with tablespoon of soup served and it was candied ginger. Could have done better myself. Very disappointed.

While my personal opinion of Peller Estates wine is that it's "meh" in comparison to some of the other wineries in the area, the food is wonderful. We had the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairings it was fabulous - absolutely delicious and appropriately portioned. I would highly recommend this option if you're not a picky eater (even if you are, actually...) - the mystery is part of the charm!

My first dining experience was fantastic so I wanted to come back. This time I had some serious issues. First and foremost I think the ladies washrooms were appalling. When I am dropping several hundred dollars for brunch I would expect that the washrooms could have been maintained. The hostess from the dining room was cleaning and restocking supplies in the washroom. This is totally unacceptable as well as unsanitary. For an establishment that has won the winery of the year I would think they could have either have separate washrooms for the dining guests or have a full time washroom attendant

I have been to the restaurant at Peller several times, as usual the food was excellent but this time the service was deplorable. From the lack of attentiveness from our server to the inability to get seat where we wanted despite the restaurant being half filled and having a reservation. All I can say is that I will be considering other options on my next visit to NOTL. I hope this was an aberration and I hope that the service gets back to where it used to be.

I visited this restaurant with 2 girlfriends for lunch near the end of September. The weather was so great we were able to sit outside on the patio. Our server, Joshua, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We ordered the recommended wine with each course, and suggest that this is the way to go. The food was very good. In particular we enjoyed the braised lamb and the seared scallops. This is the third time I have visited this restaurant, and I will be back.

Portions substantial. Wait staff friendly, humorous, knowledgeable, attentive. The dining room is out of the magazines! decorated in the most beautiful colours and is welcoming to both the casually dressed diner as well as those going to the theatre. View is outstanding! In the past Pellar Estates was a special occasion restaurant. This time it was disappointing. The mussels that we had for our first course were tiny, lots of empty shells and not flavourful. When asked for lemon they brought two tiny pieces as though they were running out and had to conserve. The same was true for the bread. In. general it felt "parsimonious". Although the wait staff were pleasant, the service was quite slow even though the restaurant was less than 50% full.
