Make sure to sit outside on the patio under the twinkling lights looking over the vineyards while you sip on exquisite wine and dine on culinary creations that will make your mouth water! This is a magical place, an unforgettable experience, and a must do on your list if you are visiting Niagra on the Lake or the surrounding area!"

We listed several food sensitivities with our server; there was an effort to comply but it did not translate from course to course. Disappointing in a high end restaurant and ironic when the night before we experienced a genuine attentive staff and quality food preparation in another Niagara venue."

  • "Our family and a friend spent 2 1/2 hours at a wonderful lunch table. The young ladies experienced oysters for the first time. There were so many appetizer and main courses to choose from. Everyone was so pleased - the beef was exceptional. The salmon and couscous was very flavourful with the addition of spinach. As the mom, I really appreciated Pat's (our server beyond compare) attention to one dietary restriction. Without undue attention, my daughter was served a variety of other dishes she could consume. This lunch truly made a memorable family meal."

  • "We had brunch here on a Sunday. I had the brunch tasting menu 4 course. Everything was superb in terms of flavour pairings, presentation and speed of service. My fiance had the blind 5 course tasting with wine pairings. The bill was a bit of a shocker but well worth it. His salad course had basil sponge and peppercorn meringue. Didn't know that it was possible to eat such delicious food. He had the must lucious duck, a lovely soup and a chocolatey dessert. Chef sent out special amuse bouches of oysters, pannacotta pre-dessert and a fruit ice between courses to cleanse the palate. We will certainly be back. I have booked a table for our wedding dinner. I am elated to go again!"

  • "Peller did not disappoint. After hearing many reviews from different people we decided to try it out. The food an appetizer of prosciutto and lamb for the main were absolutely delicious. I finished with strawberry sorbet which capped the meal perfectly. The wine was also an excellent pairing. A wonderful night had by all."

  • "We have been to this winery restaurant for events before (i.e. dine in the vines, at a chef's table), but never for their restaurant lunch. It was well worth the trip. I did the wine pairings lunch, and everything was perfection. Portion size of the pork pate appetizer was certainly more than for one, but wine pairing was perfect, and I shared the pate with my husband. Duck breast was perfect main course. My husband had the lamb shank, and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended to anyone in the wine district of Ontario."

  • "My son and I went to Peller for lunch and ordered two of the tasting menus. We could not decide if we wanted the 4 or 5 course menu so our waitress recommended that we both order a 4 course and one of us get the dessert course and one get the cheese course… GREAT idea. We also ordered one of the wine pairings that went with the meal. The wines paired excellently with the beautifully prepared courses that featured local, seasonal ingredients. We ate outside on the patio, overlooking the vineyards. The view was stunning. The pace of the service was perfectly timed and we could not believe that once we were finished we had been dining for over two hours. Lou, our waitress, made the dining experience so much more than food and wine. Lovely!"

  • "This is a very pretty dining room with patio overlooking the vineyard. Many flowers enhance the view. The food is imaginative and very well prepared, presented and served. The only complaint was that the service could have been more attentive when we first arrived. We were left for at least 10 minutes before anyone came to talk to us and to bring us water. After this things rolled along well but our server, although efficient, was aloof. Wine pairings went well with our chosen meals. We would go back whenever in the area."

  • "My man surprised me with a day experiencing the wineries at Niagara on the Lake. We rented some bikes first and rode them to Pellar Estate where we first took a tour through the winery and learned about its history. The lunch at the restaurant afterwards topped all our expectations. Not only the incredible ambience, surrounded by the wine fields, but also the service as well as the food was phenomenal. We had the four course surprise menu and all the courses were from high quality and fresh, local ingredients. Delicious! Our waiter, Michaela was so knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Definitely one of the best waiters we had."

The restaurant at Peller Estates Winery was the perfect location for an elegant lunch to start off our weekend in Niagara on the Lake. The staff were very accommodating and the tasting menu was fantastic. We never felt rushed or harried and the view from the patio is lovely looking over the vineyards and the back courtyard of the main building. Another memorable start to a fun weekend"

  • "- Peller is my favorite restaurant - food/service always brilliant - invited two friends for my 50th - food was INCREDIBLE - service was HORRIBLE - 8:30 PM we waited without bread, water or wine - told our server was too busy with a table of twelve (??!!) - no one took ownership - endured long waits while tables around us had the service I usually enjoy - Jason came to say happy birthday and was completely unaware - manager finally came offering ice wine which we declined - misinformed server brought it anyway - ignored/forgotten because of a garden party event - given a bottle of ice cuvée to take home but nothing for my friends - so late we missed hotel shuttle - waited an hour for taxi - server gave us a ride at 12:37 AM - disappointed"

The scallops were good. The service was somewhat poor as we had to get up to get our own water. The wine list is limited as they serve Peller wines only. The restaurant was very cold, please, temper the air conditioning. Not planning to go back."

Both were absolutely excellent. The outdoor patio overlooking the lawn and the vineyard provided the perfect setting. I have been to Peller on a number of occasions in the past and it just gets better and better. Price-wise I thought it good value"

  • "We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The meal began with Peller's Cuvee sparkling wine. We went for the four course meal with wine pairings. Each dish is something you have never seen before. Food presentation is highly creative, and the taste is just as exciting. We ate outside on the patio, and there was adequate protection from the sun. The waiter (Jason) was very knowledgable about wines and all the accompanying dishes. He was very smooth in every way. Never rushed us. Very proficient."

  • "We had a lovely evening on the terrace with views to die for, I had the rack of lamb and it and the scallops starter were perfect and delicious as was my husband's gazpacho and mussel starters. However the wild boar loin he had was a tad chewy and cooked a bit beyond his liking, although it was seasoned perfectly. Perhaps it is a regulatory requirement, as he was not asked how he would like it prepared, unlike the request that was made of me for the lamb. Nonetheless, we will be happy to return and try other offerrings as the overall impression was great."

  • "I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and I was a little disappointed this time. They put us in a room off from the main dining room and there were no others in this part until we were nearly finished so we felt a little left out. One of the great things about dining out is the people watching and we couldn't see anyone other than our server. If you like to be alone, you'll love it here. As for the food, I was underwhelmed. We chose the 7 course tasting menu and I felt that the first few courses were made well in advance and just came out of the fridge before serving. It got a little better for the mains as they were prepared much better, but I'll think twice about going again. They seem to have lost their touch."

  • "We went to Peller Estates Winery for our anniversary (July 2014). We had a table by the window overlooking the vineyard. We spent 4 hours (by choice) enjoying the view, food and wine. We had made reservations for the 5pm sitting (the only one available) and had our doubts that it would be too early....but it wasn't at all because by the time we left it was 9pm. We ordered the 5 course meal with wine pairings for each. The food and wine were all a surprise. All that we knew is anything we didn't like or want to eat or were allergic to had to be noted by the waitress and the rest was up to Executive Chef Jason Parsons. The food was outstanding - be adventurous and your taste buds will delight! We had terrific service too!"
