The food is always fantastic here. However, and unusually, at this meal, his soup needed salt. They apologized profusely and remedied the situation for the rest of the diners. We have been to other five star restaurants, including Babo, but keep coming back to Peller because the food is always superior to the others. Peller Estates wines are also extremely good and the chef does an excellent job of pairing them. This time we went during their 'Fabulicious' menu and got excellent value for our money.

It was a Monday night so it was not too busy. Unknowingly it was during "fabulicous" so the menu was limited but quite reasonably priced. We had the dinner with wine matching. Wines were very nice. Service seemed a little rushed but very friendly. Beautiful spot with a dusting of snow and the Xmas lights. A Canadian gem. We will be back.

Exceptional experience !! A must visit destination in Niagara- On- the Lake. The dining room is magnificent with a great view of the vineyards and the Niagara Escarpment. The wait staff are attentive and charming. The service is leisurely to allow you to enjoy your food and the view. One needs a bit of time to absorb the surrounding and to relax. The food is suburb. The wine is well paired to the food.

We had heard wonderful recommendations about the restaurant and we were excited to dine there. The wine was probably one of the best wine we've tasted thus far in NOTL, unfortunately, the food was nothing to brag about. We ordered the steak from the prix fixe menu during Restaurant Week. The taste of the steak was bland and the cut of steak had some cartilage that should have been removed.

The food was phenomenal. The only thing I found off-putting was how much the wait staff was pushing us to order the 'extras' (we were there for fabulicious). We have eyes we could see what the extras were - we just didnt want them! We finally said yes to the feature cocktail just to make him be quiet and it was horrible! Will definitely stand my ground next time.

Coluld of had a better table. We were seated inside the first room on the side when you come in. We were the only table of two. All the other tables were six or more people with one table of four. Felt out of place and ignored by our server. Beautiful restaurant but we should have been seated elsewhere.

We (three) had the pleasure of experiencing the special menus which was in place for Wine Club members, with a set price menu of three choices each for starter, main and dessert. We also elected to go with the recommended wines for each course. The food was absolutely delicious and the paired wines were also excellent. I take visiting family and friends to Peller fairly regularly and I have never been disappointed - this visit reinforced that

Between the very nice room and service we anticipated a good evening. The meal was a disappointment. We chose the 7 dish tasting menu because we enjoy the variety and the chance to test the skill of a kitchen. The opening salmon tartar was quite good, but the gloopy soup and not-creamy risotto were average and tepid. The squash puree with the beef main was overly sweet and clashed with the beef. The cheese plate, a large chunk of blue cheese with a bit of sweet accompaniment, was just too much (I like blue cheese, not this one);why not small samples of a variety of local cheeses? The blue wasn't even from Ontario. The marshmallow and cookie in the smore dessert overpowered whatever other flavours were on the dessert plate. "Meh" meal for $350.

We had the five course tasting menu paired with wine. I am a fussy eater and shared my "I do not eat" list of foods with our server. All of my food preferences were honored and we were served creative courses that were plated beautifully and were exceptional in flavor. From the scallop, the sweet potato soup, the ice wine lobster linguine, the dry aged beef and dessert we could have been more pleased. The wine pairings were spot on and the service was wonderful.

  • Highlight of Our Fall Weekend

Chef Jason's five course surprise offering with wine pairing was a leisurely end to a perfect fall day. The flavours of the various courses were outstanding and matched with generous choices of fine wines from Peller Estate's cellars. Each course was adjusted or changed completely to accommodate my lactose-intolerant guest but still allowed each of our wine pairings to compliment the courses so well that we wanted to linger over every mouthful. To go along with how wonderful as the food and wines were, the service by Erica and our hostess, Rose, made the whole experience a romantic delight. Not a meal for people on a shoe string budget or a tight time line, it was our favourite experience of our whole three-day weekend in NOTL.

A truly wonderful and memorable evening. We were celebrating our anniversary and from the moment we arrived we knew we had made the perfect choice for dinner. The Ice Cuvée tasting was an unexpected treat. We wish we had purchased a bottle at the winery as LCBO did not have it in stock. The portion sizes for the second course ... Interludes ... were very generous. We could have easily enjoyed one together, however it was nice sampling each other's. Our server took the time to inquire about food allergies, and we appreciated the effort which went into modifying a main course selection to meet dietary needs. All wine recommendations were excellent and the atmosphere very relaxing ... we would definitely return.

Dinner at the Peller Estates Winery Restaurant was fantastic! We were seated on the outdoor patio on a beautiful evening and both the dinner and service were superb! Choosing the 5 course chef's menu proved to be a gourmet's delight-delicious, innovative dishes, served in generous portions and at a relaxed pace. While my personal opinion of Peller Estates wine is that it's "meh" in comparison to some of the other wineries in the area, the food is wonderful. We had the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairings it was fabulous - absolutely delicious and appropriately portioned. I would highly recommend this option if you're not a picky eater (even if you are, actually...) - the mystery is part of the charm!

My first dining experience was fantastic so I wanted to come back. This time I had some serious issues. First and foremost I think the ladies washrooms were appalling. When I am dropping several hundred dollars for brunch I would expect that the washrooms could have been maintained. The hostess from the dining room was cleaning and restocking supplies in the washroom. This is totally unacceptable as well as unsanitary. For an establishment that has won the winery of the year I would think they could have either have separate washrooms for the dining guests or have a full time washroom attendant
