"Food was very good, but server had an attitude and had to make multiple requests for things like another beverage or something extra needed. Menu was extensive and specials were very interesting; however, menu was very light on chicken dishes which usually parallell the veal selections. The lobster tail special was especially good."

"I had to check Pellegrino's out myself. It sounded too good to be true. After one taste of the stuffed artichoke and the lasagna I knew this was the real deal - great authentic Italian Harlem cooking right here in Boca Raton. Bobby Pellegrino added South Florida touches with outside seating, touch lighting, and live music not possible in the old neighborhood. My sister, who joined me for dinner, and I were raised on food like this in our Sicilian-Napoletan household. We both cannot wait to eat at Pellegrino's again."

"The waiter was overworked, too few wait staff for the amount of diners. Therefore service was very slow. The food was OK, the osso buco had no flavor and it was one of the specials."

"First time here. I recall this restaurant moved from another location to this one taking over a previous restaurant's space. Something is wrong here. The servers were all VERY attentive but their kitchen is killing them. To me it looked like way too small a kitchen to provide for the interior dining room and the larger outside eating area. The food took forever to come out. Ours was "rushed" out of the kitchen and it took more than 30 minutes after we were done with the appetizer for the main course to arrive. Our waiter told us many people last night were waiting more than an hour for their main course to come out. The table next to us that arrived before we did went to the owner to complain. They must fix this to survive."

"We were greeted very warmly. It had a really homey atmosphere. The staff were very attentive without hovering.
Food was delicious. We are used to thinly sliced veal, so when we got our plates we were a bit skeptical, but it was so soft and delicious.
Great neighborhood find."
