Great presentations, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Surprisingly, one of only a few in the United States was located about and hour and a half from us. The ambience is great, the service is exceptional and the food is delicious. My husband says that everything he has gotten, has been spot on as far as authenticity. I wouldn't know, because I was born and raised in Texas, but all I know is that everything has been so tasty! We always take someone new to experience the whole place usually as a celebration. We have six children between the both of us and have taken them there for a birthday, after a big surgery, to tell them how much we love them, we enjoy them bragging about that time. We love the memory out creates in our world. My fiance proposed to me there, it was amazing and very intimate. I usually hate cole slaw, but I was eating other people's servings as well as my own because I just couldn't get enough! The service was amazing and the manager and owner even came to our table to ask us how our experience was going. Over all, the place was definitely worth the money, but don't go if you are looking for a quiet date. The atmospher is cool, but noisy. It is centrally located in Vintage Park. The interior is incredible! Our most recent visit was for our manager's birthday, and the food and service were fabulous. We were seated in a large room with other diners, and greeted by a very knowledgeable and friendy waitress. My boyfriend ordered the Filet with Shrimp Scampi, and I ordered the Huguenot Filet (with cheese and bacon on top). The filets were cooked perfectly, and the topping on my filet was so good I didn't want it to end. We decided not to get dessert, even though Peli Peli's specialty is sticky toffee pudding. The place isn't real big on the inside so be sure and make reservations ahead if time. My husband lived in South Africa for 5 years, so I thought he would enjoy the restaurant. When we arrived the waitress asked if we had been there before. We told her we had not, and she began explaining the story of the place & answered our questions about the menu. My husband was thrilled with the authentic SA food! We enjoyed the stuffed prawn appetizer, biltong appetizer (resembles beef jerky, but not cooked to death), and some type of sausage appetizer. All of them were explosions of flavor!
