I believe they had a new menu, so it took quite awhile to receive our meal. My hamburger paddy had a bit of crunch on the outside which I I thought was a good touch. The collard greens were good also. Matt, our server, was there when we needed him and not when we didn't. My wife likened the lamb burger close to her favorite at 5Church. Unfortunately we were not able to sit on the roof and enjoy the view, but we did walk up to check it out. Definitely would be worth the wait and will try to do next time. I had indicated on the opentable that it was my birthday. They were very sweet when we walked in and made me feel special. Right when we sat down the manager brought myself and my party a round of champagne for my birthday.
As far as the food it was very good. I had a burger which was delicious, I would have liked a few more varieties of burgers, but the quality of meat was perfect. My boyfriend had the pork belly, which I do not normally like pork belly but it was very good and moist. The rudebaga mash was very good as well. The Mushroom Risotto was cooked to perfection and the mushrooms had a lot of flavor.

Everyone really enjoyed their meal-I love the innovative twist on old favorites. The duck confit Rueben was a real hit. My husband's cassoulet was good but overpriced (hence the 4 not 5 stars). They were out of the wine we ordered to sold us a much better one for the same price that our original order would have cost us. That's a classy thing to do and the sort of customer service that many places in Charlotte don't understand. We were seated for our reservation promptly on the rooftop terrace as requested, though they don't take reservations for the rooftop; the host offered a great view on the 2nd floor or an available table on the 3rd floor terrace (3rd floor has knee-high tables better suited for appetizers). Lamb burger(delicious) perfect mediterranean blend; Shepherd's Pie(good) a little bland but well prepared; fish & chips(great); special Osso Buco Lamb(outstanding) a bit pricey at $29 but worth it.
