   Excellent food and service! Their wine cellar downstairs is fascinating, right out of a movie set. Lit with candles mainly and narrow tables, is a intimate experience worth having.

   Great place! Great food and ambiance service was ok but could be more attentive. Be aware they ask for the Covid 19 recovery fee. I think business should warn their guest of it as not all restaurants are applying this I am still confused on why some are and others aren’t...

   Amazing food with a great ambiance and awesome service. It’s hard to describe the experience as it’s significantly different than almost any other you have had especially with the open kitchen and wood fired oven exposed.

   Was on the fence about going here, but I have to say it was a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend the Rigatoni alla Vodka — it rivals Carbones (possibly better). Our server was sweet, knowledgeable and attentive. I’ll be back!

   Run don't walk to Peasant. It is as authentically Italian as you can get. The food and staff are the stars, and Chef Forgione leads his restaurant as a family. If indoor dining still feels risky the tables are spaced more than 6ft with plexiglass guards. Peasant is still a feather in the NYC dining scene's cap.
