Peasant Bistro, the newest of Atlanta's favorite Peasant Restaurants is conveniently located Downtown overlooking Centennial Olympic Park. We are within walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium, Phillips arena, GWCC, CNN, Americas Mart and all the major downtown hotels. Our new Bistro menu consists… classics as well as exciting new creations from the Chef. Our extensive wine list consists of remarkable wines in every price range. We have several options for private dining, including seated dinners for 20-150 and receptions for up to 500. There is a beautiful patio for dining or private events to 60 people.Continued

"Food was quite nicely prepared. Fresh halibut, tender pork loin, tasty sides. Wish plates had had better balance with more bountiful servings of veggies and chosen carbs. Many choose their entree based on the accompanying sides. Vegetable soup was tasty enough pub fare, but last night's leftover veggies in broth is a bit too pedestrian for a starter at nicer restaurant. Restaurant is very attractive in dove grays and creams with nice linens and lighting. However, the open atrium lets the cacophony at the bar pierce the quiet dining setting upstairs. Baffles are needed to help with this accoustic nightmare. Oddly the bistro tables were mostly empty on a beautiful spring Friday night with Centennial Olympic Park whispering softly outside. Go"

"The service was outstanding. Our waiter was one of the very best we have ever had. The food is wonderful. No complaints at all. One observation: We were in town for a convention and walked past this place for a few days before we went. We almost cancelled our reservation because from the street it appeared to be pretty much empty every time we passed. The dining room is upstairs and invisible from the street. What you can see from the street is mostly the bar, although that isn't what it looks like. Great place and we will be back when in Atlanta."

"Was pleasantly surprised to discover this little gem. I was not feeling hopeful about my food options in Atlanta. The froie gras was exceptional. The duck confit melted in your mouth. Just an all around wonderful experience."
