Pearl CaféElegant rustic French CafeWe celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary at Pearl Cafe, as it is an exceptional place to celebrate life's events or an intimate dinner for two. The food selection is varied and beautifully prepared and presented. The wait staff is attentive but demure and always friendly and helpful. The decor is intimate with exposed antique brick walls, wood floors, and lighting appropriate to the moment. This is an exceptional restaurant that deserves 5 stars!6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable meal with excellentMemorable meal with excellent service, and the menu was amazing. In addition, the plating worth a photo! We will absolutely return.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMMissoula ambienceThe experience begins with a greeting at the door by a smiling Pearl. Excellent service, food and ambience make the Pearl Cafe our choice for a romantic dinner.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent presentationThere were three persons in our party. We had an excellent Spanish White with dinner that consisted of the House Salad (beautifully presented) and French Onion Soup. The soup was rich and deep, there were no shortcuts done to create and excellent broth. The steaks were prepared with individual sides and cooked to perfection, including a Filet that was butterflied and cooked medium well for a very choosy eater.
For desert we went simple, one of my ways to judge a kitchen is there presentation of a simple ice cream sundae, or Creme Brulee and Pearl passed with praise worthy examples.
Service was respectful, prompt, and courteous.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMPearl's a PeachPart of the Missoula locavore/foodie scene, Pearl is a real treat. The setting is great -- with a few different rooms from which to choose. The food is really good. Fresh, local ingredients prepared in inventive and very tasty ways. There is a large wine list with good choices at a variety of price points. The prices are reasonable (although certainly no bargain). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend it.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was amazing. TheThe food was amazing. The service was excellent. I would recommend! They even put a candle on my dessert for my birthday, very nice!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant is charming! The restaurant is charming! Excellent food and impeccable service. We had the spring mix salad, crab cakes, halibut and prawns...all was delicious. Also the waiter was very helpful with our wine selections which we loved and of course dessert...chocolate mousse and a seasonal sorbet. Pearl goes the extra mile with all the finishing touches- I highly recommend this restaurant.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMRelaxing EveningMy boyfriend and I went to the Pearl last weekend for the first time. We had a gift card and were very excited. Our server was OUTSTANDING! Lobster cakes were delish, my boyfriend ordered rack of lamb and that was also very, very good. I ordered the fish special that night and it was good as well. We enjoyed our evening and will be back.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWarm ambiance and elegant service.Fine food at a fair price. This is an extremely pleasant restaurant. Very elegant but not at all stuffy. I will return.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNew to Some of UsWhen the Montana Webmaster Team was choosing somewhere to go for dinner, we chose the Pearl Cafe. Several of our Team had never been there before, but it is one of my personal favorites in Missoula. Everyone agreed - we made the right choice!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMOur experience at Pearl CafeOur experience at Pearl Cafe was great. Our waiter was informative and very effecient. The food was delicious and so was dessert. Thewine list gave us just enough choices. We .will definatly go back.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and a legitimateExcellent food and a legitimate upscale dining experience (something hard to find in Missoula).4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, Great ServiceWhile visiting the University of Montana campus, we found the Pearl Cafe on OpenTable. Dinner was truly outstanding from the appetizer through dessert as well as a very good wine list. Service was relaxed, friendly and very helpful. The food is on par with better Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco restaurants - certainly far better than expected in a small city.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways ExcellentThe service and food were excellent, as always. The Pearl is our go-to restaurant for a reliably fantastic experience.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been here 3 times before.Have been here 3 times before. Won't repeat myself. This should be a Michelin starred restaurant. The food is as well prepared and presented as any we have visited in the SF Bay area (where we live), and at one third the price. A good reason (among quite a few) to visit Missoula even if you have no other reason. Get reservations well in advance.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Pearl is a GemFood is always exceptional. Service, too. Someone is always waiting for you when you walk in the door, fast super delicious, excellent, wish there was something even close in Coeur d'Alene.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable DiningMy wife and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary at Pearl. My elk osso buco was remarkably tender and the marrow succulent. My wife's duck dish, a duo of rare breast and duck leg confit exceptional. We opted for the cheese plate instead of dessert to finish of our 1989 bottle of Chateau Angelus, which we brought and had decanted at the restaurant. Anytime we want to celebrate a special occasion, Pearl Café is our first choice.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA true pearl in Missoula!I now understand why this restaurant is named Pearl. It's rare and special indeed-- right there in the heart of little old Missoula! The wine list was excellent and the food was outstanding. I had the Seafood Chorizo Paella-- it was perhaps one of the best meals I've ever had and I travel extensively and dine at many fine establishments across the country. This is a "don't miss" in Missoula!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMA Gem of A Pearl by Pearl! The Pearl is my favorite restaurant in Missoula. They have a fairly consistent menu, from which I've never ordered a meal that wasn't delicious. I'm particularly partial to the Filet with Green Peppercorn Sauce and the Filet with Port & Roquefort. The menu is expensive, however, so this is likely only to be a place for special occasions or romantic dates. Service is almost always thoughtful and attentive and the atmosphere is very quiet and calm.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful gem in Missoula! What a wonderful restaurant! The food was amazing and the service great.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
