We took the aerial tram and had dinner here. It was a Sunday evening so it wasn't crowded. View was really nice. Service was great and the food was excellent. We both had filet mignon and the spinach salad to start. Then topped that off with their amazing german chocolate cheesecake. We will definitely visit again.

We were a group of 5 Canadians and we were pleasantly pleased with the entire experience. We loved the tram and appreciated "Ben's" enthusiasm and comedic personality. Security folks were very friendly as well. Loved our waiter Chris who was very friendly, professional and attentive. Food was fantastic and with the spectacular view ....it made for a memorable evening. Well done!

The setting is just plain BEAUtiful! Looking out at the lights of Palm Springs almost makes one forget about the food, but the food almost matched the view. Neither my wife nor I remember what we ate - other than the fudge brownie with ice cream which was delicious - but we do remember that it was good, and that we were glad we ate here. It was worth it!

My expectations were exceeded! Considering that all supplies and ingredients must be transported via the tram, I was somewhat concerned about the freshness of the ingredients used in their meals. I need not have been. I had a surprisingly delicious pasta dinner with grilled shrimp. And a tasty bread pudding for dessert that is made in-house. Our server could not have been more pleasant, and provided just enough attention. A bit pricey perhaps, but the location is worth it!

My husband and I came to the Peaks restaurant to celebrate our Anniversary. We had a 7:00 reservation but ended up getting to the restaurant at 6:30. We let them know we were there just in case a seat became available early. We assumed we would have to wait until 7:00 so we made our way to the bar. At 7:15 my husband asked the hostess how much longer we would have to wait and reminded her that we had a 7:00 reservation. After checking back 2 more times we were finally seated at 8:15.Tried to order an appetizer but were out of everything. When we ordered our dinner the waiter told us that if we wanted dessert we would have to place the order at the same time. The food was ok not great. After this experience we probably won't return.

Hostess was clearly overwhelmed and after checking us in by name and on time for the reservation proceeded to seat 7 tables ahead of us and another reservation that were stuck waiting. After 20+mins She asked us our name as if she had forgotten the entire conversation from minutes before. Beginning aside the waiter did a good job explaining the menu and meal/drinks were great overall

The view is great. The food was underwhelming. I ordered the bacon avo sandwich, which for $12.00 had hardly any bacon. Very disappointing. My husband's chicken club had very dry pieces of chicken. The coffee was the best cup of coffee I have experienced in a restaurant for a long time. We were there on a Saturday and it was busy, but our service was so slow. All and all I have to say a disappointing dining experience, sorry.

Although our experience wasn't great the food was very good. Thankfully. This was a birthday gift to my husband who had never been on the tramway...and to be waiting around for our reservation time (killing time)..then getting there 15 minutes prior and being told they'd "guess" they'd seat us since we had a reservation but that they stopped seating a half hour prior was a bit much. They even called me at home to confirm my 7:45 time the day before. What the heck. When booking I asked for a little something for a birthday celebration but that never happened and there was not even a pleasant happy birthday, sir, for my husband. Sad.

I was very disappointed in this restaurant. I was not good at all. The ambiance could be very good because the view is outstanding. However, the restaurant is dated and dirty. It was not pleasent looking out the finger printed windows. Everything around me looked dirty. The food was overcooked and lacking in presentation. The food is expensive so one would expect more. I read somewhere that the altitude makes is difficult to serve some food properly. If this is the case these dishes should not be on the menu or the server should explain this up front. The server was very attentive. Overall it was a terrible experience.

Lovely food and wonderful service, we just wish we had gone on the tram earlier as it would have been good to see the views in light and dark. The food was very reasonable in price but you must remember you have the additional charge of the tram to get to the venue. We will tell our friends about it when we return to the UK.

The girlfriend and I came here on our trip to Palm Springs, even though reviews were not always positive. I have to say, I think people are being a bit hard on Peaks. The view was amazing, the service was super friendly for us, and we very much enjoyed the food. We admit the prices are a bit high, but you're also dining at 8,500 feet so they've got some costs of their own that are a bit unique, too. Overall, we had a blast.

Wonderful views from atop the mountain, food was good, but was missing the wow factor from many angles. Service was attentive and friendly. I know they are trying to establish a fine dining atmosphere, but the menu missed the mark. Room for improvement for sure, probably a new chef with some cutting edge take on creating some really special signature dishes might be in order. Again, food was good but didn't reach the "peak" in my opinion. Missing that wow factor, rather ordinary execution, and the menu lacked inspiration.

Peaks came highly recommended and I was looking forward to eating there. I made a reservation online to get a guaranteed table but when we arrived the hostess was frazzled and we were told we had to wait. Another couple walked in after us, without a reservation, but were seated ahead of us. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM but had to wait until 7:30 PM to get a table. I was hoping to have a table near the windows to see the beautiful view but instead had to settle for a table on the second level away from the windows. Although the food was delicious it took a long time just to get the appetizer. In my opinion if you eat at Peaks don't be in a hurry and don't be too hungry because the wait may be longer than expected.

We were supposed to have dinner there the night before, but the tram was closed. On a whim we decided to see if we could go up the next day. The tram was running, so we decided to see what we missed the night before. Monica was our server, and she was fun and personable. She took the time to make sure we were not rushed and answered our questions, even those not necessarily related to the restaurant. My wife had the Bacon Avocado bleu cheese burger. Very good! I had the Avocado bacon BLT. Also good. We would like to come back at night for dinner with a view, but since we live in Az, it will be a while before we can come back. Great place!

It isn't a usual experience to dine on good food & surprisingly decent wine at over 8,000 feet, then adding a spectacular view of Palm Springs & the Coachella Valley to that! Of course, there are many finer restaurants, but none can come close to the vistas that The Peaks owns. Sipping a glass of wine and watching the light & color of the sky change to twilight is a transcending experience everyone should have.
