Peacock Restaurant & Lounge at The Inn at 202 DoverThe host welcomed us at theThe host welcomed us at the door, and was very accommodating along with a most attentive staff that timed everything perfectly. The menu selection was thoughtfully limited which to me was a good sign of quality control. Our wine was decanted before being served our appetizers of duck spring rolls for my wife, and fois gras for me, both excellent. Next, we were served our entrees of seared scallops, and lump crabcakes, again excellent. All dishes were an artful persentation. We finished with strawberries romanoff ice cream, and the bread pudding along with a complimentary glass of white port in celebration of our anniversary. You bet we will return!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful!Delicious meal, delightful server - all in all a lovely evening!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA dining treat !We've dined here many times and always look forward to our return.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat FindThis restaurant was given a great review in the Annapolis Magazine May issue. So my husband and I wanted to try it. It was a 54 mile drive and well worth the trip to the Eastern Shore. It would be a great stop for those coming or going to Ocean City. The restaurant and grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed all the food except the appitizer. I believe the oysters were under cooked. The entrees were wonderful and extremly well prepared. The presentation was great. The desserts were fantastic to OK. The cream burlee was average the bread pudding was out of this world. Don't miss it if you have the chance to try it.
The service was superb from both the server and owners.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMFavorate in EastonSecond time here and if anything better than the first which was outstanding. The suggestion for the wine was particularly insightful, I mean what do you pair with Rabbit? A limited menu (small place can't have a long menu) but with great variety. Very relaxed atmosphere. I think it is the best restaraunt in Easton and St. Micael's area.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe ate at the Peacock RestaurantWe ate at the Peacock Restaurant & Lounge the first night of our stay at the Inn, and it was a perfect meal... from the expertly-made Manhattan (Thank you, Ron!) to the delicious oysters with beet mignonette & sea salt to the succulent steak entree – everything was top notch. Ron, the owner, is the consummate host... and helped to make our evening a special one. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Easton/St. Michaels/Eastern Shore area.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and service were good;Food and service were good; you're made to feel like a very welcomed guest. Restaurant week menu was nice but we were surprised that the full menu wasn't also offered. We don't like large portions, but the portion sizes for all 3 courses seemed a little smaller than usual. Two tiny oysters for my starter, six bites of chicken for an entree, and less than a 1/4 cup of ice cream with similar size of whipped cream. I came home still hungry...3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a great restaurant. This is a great restaurant. Superb food, excellent service, beautiful ambiance, it's all here.
