Peacock Restaurant & Lounge at The Inn at 202 DoverGreat FindThis restaurant was given a great review in the Annapolis Magazine May issue. So my husband and I wanted to try it. It was a 54 mile drive and well worth the trip to the Eastern Shore. It would be a great stop for those coming or going to Ocean City. The restaurant and grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed all the food except the appitizer. I believe the oysters were under cooked. The entrees were wonderful and extremly well prepared. The presentation was great. The desserts were fantastic to OK. The cream burlee was average the bread pudding was out of this world. Don't miss it if you have the chance to try it.

Foodies like to know all the components of a dish but in the absence of printed menus, the wait staff gave very abbreviated descriptions. The owner/sommalier was most helpful and knowledgeable. Ron, the owner, is the consummate host... and helped to make our evening a special one. Restaurant week menu was nice but we were surprised that the full menu wasn't also offered. We don't like large portions, but the portion sizes for all 3 courses seemed a little smaller than usual. Two tiny oysters for my starter, six bites of chicken for an entree, and less than a 1/4 cup of ice cream with similar size of whipped cream.
