Always a warm welcome, always great food, always excellent and friendly service. The Peacock Cafe has a lovely ambience and interesting cuisine, Persian or with Persian influence, with great apps, yummy entrees and fabulous desserts. Don't miss the apple tart. And if you are into coffee drinks don't miss the Peacock Iced Coffee with marshmellow vodka, espresso, Baileys and whipped cream either before dinner or even as your dessert! A really great dining experience!

Though recently we've been to the D.C. area twice, we've been to Peacock 5 times. The staff is probably one of the best I've encountered - always attentive but not too much, friendly, professional and very accommodating. A couple of times we were in a hurry and the staff made sure we had a lovely, unhurried meal and got us out in plenty of time. The food is delicious, well prepared and beautiful and the decor contemporary and comfortable. We love the juice bar!!! and brunch and lunch. The people who work there seem to have a pride in what they do and the meals they serve and they should. It's exceptional!

The food was very good, as we have come to expect from Peacock Cafe, but the service was below their typical standard. The waiter didn't take our order until about the third time he came by the table. We also didn't get bread until we asked for it. We like to come here before shows at the Kennedy Center, so it's a regular spot for us, but this experience was below the quality we've come to expect in past visits here (it's been about 2 years since we last dined here).

Nice place for a more formal brunch atmosphere. Food was really good but very expensive for eggs ($70 for two people for eggs and a mimosa each). If you are looking for easy affordable brunch definitely go elsewhere.

Have been here before, has a very good brunch and lunch selection, very friendly. It is also obvious that it is a neighborhood "gem" in a sense that a lot of the customers are repeaters from Georgetown. This attests to the good quality of the restaurant.

Delicious meal with varied menu. Loved the option that brunch was served until 4pm! Service was a bit slow but given that it was a Sunday, servers were most likely extended. Attention to cleanliness of table would have been helpful as we were seated outside. A nice pleasant dining experience.

While the food was ok, the service was terrible. Though not terribly crowded, our server left menus and then spent about 15 minutes chatting with her friends at the hostess station. We had to flag a busboy to get our waitress to take our order. She never came back to us after that.

My boyfriend and I came to Peacock Cafe before a comedy show and had a fabulous time. The menu was varied and both of our entrees were delicious. We shared the carrot cake for dessert, and although the cake itself was a little dry for my taste, the cinnamon ice cream, and strawberry and fresh whipped cream which accompanied it were fantastic and more than made up for it.

It was my friend and I's first time dining here (brunch). I had arrived first; my friend came shortly thereafter (5 minutes later). I asked to be seated first, and the hostess denied my request, as my friend hadn't arrived. Food was mediocre, and service could've definitely been better. I had ordered their most expensive brunch item: open face egg whites omelette w saffron stewed tomatoes & jumbo lump crabmeat, topped w smoked salmon and caviar; my friend, the corned beef hash. While the food wasn't bad, it wasn't anything amazing-- certainly not for that price tag. As a foodie, I've brunched at various restaurants in DC-- there is far better quality food and service elsewhere.
