A word from PBCatch
'More fresh fish is coming to the island as Thierry Beaud, co-owner of Clematis' popular French bistro Pistache, and his group of Palm Beach investors are bringing life back to 251 Sunrise in the form of PB Catch...the restaurant space will feature locally caught seafood served in a casual nautical dining room, think "a modern yacht", accented with white-leather banquettes and mahogany floors.' - EaterMiamiContinued

  • "Service was impeccable, food was amazing! I love the skinny 3-course menu! Perfect options and decent size portions that I'm glad I could share it! The salmon with pea risotto was amazing!!!"

  • "My wife and I really enjoyed our first time at PB Catch on 6/27. Our server, Michael, was friendly, knowledgable , and attentive. My wife raved about the gazpacho and my tartar sampler was delicious. My sea bass entrée was well prepared and my wife had the cioppino which was loaded with flavor. I would definitely recommend PB Catch if you are looking for great seafood."

  • "We had another great evening at PB Catch. We love the atmosphere and decor. It's bustling, but not so noisy that you can't carry on a conversation. The food was excellent. We opted for the tasting menu, and that offered us a great variety of dishes that were a delight. The one issue was that we ordered oysters that never came. The server just forgot. We had plenty of food nonetheless."

  • "Took my Mom to PBCatch for her birthday...we , were all looking forward to it a lot. Had great drinks and apps in the bar area-oysters were delicious and very fresh. Paid bar and app tab, and then went to dining room to have our dinner. Sat and waited and waited for someone to take our order. Apparently no one from the bar had told the dining room staff that we had moved there. Finally got to order, and dinner took FOREVER. People all around us were being served. That part was disappointing. I felt sorry for our very gracious server, Leo, as it was not his fault. At one point I approached the hostess and one of the owners to explain the frustrating situation (I have been in food service a VERY long time). They did apologize."

  • "This was my 1st visit PBCatch and I ordered the 3 course meal. The quantity was adequate and the food tasty. I ordered the mussels which tasted fresh and very well prepared. The Cioppino was good and the dessert was good ( my wife did not find the desserts very good ). I think the price was fair and I would return."

  • "Chef,Manager and Wait Staff all outdid each other in their respective positions. Sophisticated yet approachable menu. Superb quality ingredients. Interesting craft cocktails. Extensive, affordable wine list. Cannot wait to return. In fact, I am returning tonite. Breathless with anticipation..... Thank you for a memorable evening."

  • "Food all good to very good. Ditto the service. However what was charged was more than what it was worth. $18.00 for a Absolut Martini. Total check for two was just short of $200.00."

  • "Sitting at the Oyster Bar in Palm Beach Catch so reminds one of the great Oyster Bars we have known over the years! They have brought a great tradition and amazing food to Palm Beach and we feel fortunate to have them. We salute the owners and partners who took a huge risk to present this wonderfully freshly prepared fish dishes done in the most creative and delicious ways. When you sit at the Oyster Bar, you know there is something special about PB Catch because the food is brilliantly prepared and served immediately. The staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable about the pairings of food and wine with each new iteration of a fish dish. This restaurant deserves our support for its brilliance boldness of vision. . "

  • "This experience was GREAT all around....food, wine, service and ambiance!"

  • "This was our second visit to PBCatch. We are fish lovers and had enjoyed that experience. This time my husband's salad was a special and was outstanding. That turned out to be the high point. My salad was a Caesar made with tired greens and little flavor. We ordered the same fish for our mains - one prepared as a special and one grilled with sides. The special was a mild curry preparation that was very flavorful. Unfortunately, the fish itself was over cooked. The grilled preparation was also over cooked, so it seemed that the chef simply didn't know how to prepare fish. Even if only the B team was cooking that night (a Sunday), there is no excuse for over cooked food in any fine restaurant, especially one specializing in fish!"

  • "High quality preparations. The seacuterie ( a seafood takeoff on charcuterie) is a special delight. Friendly and attentive service. Pleasing décor with low noise levels. Wine list is a bit amateurish mainly loaded with names that were top-notch 20 years ago but are now so-so (e.g. Cakebread). Need more wines-by-the-glass choices. Also stay away from the fish-and-chips as this is very undistinguished from lesser restaurants. "

  • "Catch is a great restaurant for many reasons. Excellent food, service and friendly environment. If you like seafood this restaurant is one of the very best in the area. The bar is also a knockout, really cool. For the Palm Beach area this restaurant is a winner on all counts."

  • "It was our multiple return to PB Catch and we again were very satisfied. Beet salad with baby kale was very nice but Flounder wrapped in a Phyllo dough on special deserved a special recognition, it was just delicious! We are looking forward to many more "going back"."

  • "We applaud the energy, the food and the staff and most of all the management/owners who had the courage to create a great place for food. This is the best Fish and Chips on the globe. The Oysters are amazing flesh and delicious and the service was amazing. The food is creative and tasty and not foodie in your face. We love sitting at the magnificent bar. Best seats in the house. "

  • "We were in on a Sunday evening and the place was sparsely populated and had no buzz. The senior waitstaff was well-acquainted with the dishes on the menu. The busboys and servers were a bit clueless. We had a few different varieties of oysters, which were fresh. The oxtail and bay scallop appetizer was an unusual combo that really worked. We had only a number of appetizers as I felt the main courses were priced very high and nothing seemed that enticing. What we had definitely showed a good chef was a work. I might try the restaurant again on a night that might be busier. I just wish the main courses were more reasonably priced."

  • "I knew what to expect based on the reviews, but non the less it was a great surprise for everything to live up to it's expectations. Great food, terrific service nothing to be improved upon. The fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. David was an exceptional server, going about his trade in a stealthily efficient manner, there when we needed him, but never intrusive. Looking forward to returning. Need I say more!?"

  • "Fantastic time at PBCatch. Refreshingly un-ordinary. Four of us had a "Foodies Feast".. raw oyster variety platter (raves).. seafood Seacuterie of octopus, salmon salami and Kampachi (not enough for four, but a wonderful sampling for two).. white tuna tartare (deliciously fresh).. crispy bay scallops (a must have).. I had the sea bass (another must have).. my husband had fish and chips (good).. and our other entrée was a specialty fish order because one guest must eat gluten-free. He was quite happy. Most of the table drank French white wine. They had a nice selection and reasonable prices. Our waiter could not have been friendlier or more accommodating (but not overbearing). Overall, a lovely experience."

  • "One of the few spots in town that we returned with pleasure! Food as always was very good : delicious baby kale salad with beets, sea cuterie ( wonderful combinattion of three: salmon, monk fish "fois grass" and grilled octopus), pork belly on special (super tender meat and super crispy skin!) and Mahi Mahi, made a great meal! We also enjoyed a passion fruit cheesecake for dessert...A definite come back!"

  • "It had been two years since we last are at PB Catch. What a mistake! The service and food was excellent and the staff not pretentious. A table at 8 was readily availae with no fuss unlike at other pb restaurants. The quality of the fish was superb and our wait staff professional!"

  • "While the atmosphere, decor and ambiance of PBCatch are quite nice, it's lacking in food quality and top notch service. It's clear that this restaurant does not cater to a discerning clientele as menu items are either over engineered or lacking in substance. The tartar sampler was completely over done and all three items tasted exactly the same (none of which tasted like the actual main ingredient). The main course of Mahi was well cooked and had great flavor and ended up being the savior of the meal. Oyster were just average. The worst part about PBCatch was our server who, when asked for recommendations, simply pointed to the most expensive item on the menu each time and the prices, which are outrageous."

  • "We tried some new menu items that were fabulous! There we're just two of us, but we got to sample 7 dishes. All excellent. one of the accompanimenta, basmati rice, was slightly over salted given the delicacy of the fish, But the fish itself was perfectly cooked. Our waiter Mark was also excellent."

  • "My husband and I were very disappointed when our fresh fish specials were not fresh or hot. We sent my meal back to get heated and it came back warm & dried out. This is not fresh fish."

  • "We have eaten at all the great seafood restaurants in the Palm Beach area. PB Catch is by far the best. The chef knows how to get the freshest fish, how to blend it with ingredients and most inoportantly how to cook it. Try the signature sea bass in sweet soy sauce & brussels sprouts for a main course and be sure to start with some oysters. The Louis Latour Mersault is a wonderful wine with the fish."
