A word from PBCatch
'More fresh fish is coming to the island as Thierry Beaud, co-owner of Clematis' popular French bistro Pistache, and his group of Palm Beach investors are bringing life back to 251 Sunrise in the form of PB Catch...the restaurant space will feature locally caught seafood served in a casual nautical dining room, think "a modern yacht", accented with white-leather banquettes and mahogany floors.' - EaterMiamiContinued

Diner Reviews
  • "Delicious meal. Great service. Loved loved loved the sea bass! "

  • "We were in on a Sunday evening and the place was sparsely populated and had no buzz. The senior waitstaff was well-acquainted with the dishes on the menu. The busboys and servers were a bit clueless. We had a few different varieties of oysters, which were fresh. The oxtail and bay scallop appetizer was an unusual combo that really worked. We had only a number of appetizers as I felt the main courses were priced very high and nothing seemed that enticing. What we had definitely showed a good chef was a work. I might try the restaurant again on a night that might be busier. I just wish the main courses were more reasonably priced."

  • "I knew what to expect based on the reviews, but non the less it was a great surprise for everything to live up to it's expectations. Great food, terrific service nothing to be improved upon. The fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. David was an exceptional server, going about his trade in a stealthily efficient manner, there when we needed him, but never intrusive. Looking forward to returning. Need I say more!?"

  • "Sat in the bar area with my wife and her two friends from out of town. Michael was our server and he was great. Food was very good, wine was nice, over all great time. Will be back."

  • "Fantastic time at PBCatch. Refreshingly un-ordinary. Four of us had a "Foodies Feast".. raw oyster variety platter (raves).. seafood Seacuterie of octopus, salmon salami and Kampachi (not enough for four, but a wonderful sampling for two).. white tuna tartare (deliciously fresh).. crispy bay scallops (a must have).. I had the sea bass (another must have).. my husband had fish and chips (good).. and our other entrée was a specialty fish order because one guest must eat gluten-free. He was quite happy. Most of the table drank French white wine. They had a nice selection and reasonable prices. Our waiter could not have been friendlier or more accommodating (but not overbearing). Overall, a lovely experience."

  • "My wife and I were astounded by the flavors and presentation of the entrees we selected. Simply...this is an outstanding restaurant with a neighborhood freiendliness and attention to excellence."

  • "High quality, fresh ingredients and imaginative menu make it a great place to dine with friends who appreciate fine food and service. Love PB Catch and sister restaurant Pistache which is a regular destination for lunch."

  • "One of the few spots in town that we returned with pleasure! Food as always was very good : delicious baby kale salad with beets, sea cuterie ( wonderful combinattion of three: salmon, monk fish "fois grass" and grilled octopus), pork belly on special (super tender meat and super crispy skin!) and Mahi Mahi, made a great meal! We also enjoyed a passion fruit cheesecake for dessert...A definite come back!"

  • "It had been two years since we last are at PB Catch. What a mistake! The service and food was excellent and the staff not pretentious. A table at 8 was readily availae with no fuss unlike at other pb restaurants. The quality of the fish was superb and our wait staff professional!"

  • "While the atmosphere, decor and ambiance of PBCatch are quite nice, it's lacking in food quality and top notch service. It's clear that this restaurant does not cater to a discerning clientele as menu items are either over engineered or lacking in substance. The tartar sampler was completely over done and all three items tasted exactly the same (none of which tasted like the actual main ingredient). The main course of Mahi was well cooked and had great flavor and ended up being the savior of the meal. Oyster were just average. The worst part about PBCatch was our server who, when asked for recommendations, simply pointed to the most expensive item on the menu each time and the prices, which are outrageous."

  • "We tried some new menu items that were fabulous! There we're just two of us, but we got to sample 7 dishes. All excellent. one of the accompanimenta, basmati rice, was slightly over salted given the delicacy of the fish, But the fish itself was perfectly cooked. Our waiter Mark was also excellent."

  • "My husband and I were very disappointed when our fresh fish specials were not fresh or hot. We sent my meal back to get heated and it came back warm & dried out. This is not fresh fish."

  • "We have eaten at all the great seafood restaurants in the Palm Beach area. PB Catch is by far the best. The chef knows how to get the freshest fish, how to blend it with ingredients and most inoportantly how to cook it. Try the signature sea bass in sweet soy sauce & brussels sprouts for a main course and be sure to start with some oysters. The Louis Latour Mersault is a wonderful wine with the fish."

  • "Dishes were thoughtfully prepared, presented and had great flavor. The ambiance/decor is modern/hip. The menu is difficult to read and for some reason the waiter wasn't helpful in deciphering. He didn't seem well trained or knowledgeable generally which detracts from the overall experience."

  • "The service was great but the food was just ok. It was our second time there and we felt the same way about the food on our first time. We would go back for drinks and oysters but that's it."

  • "Picked the Restaurant from open table since we were going to be in Palm Beach. The entire experience was delightful. . The bluepoint oysters were delicious and we ordered the Black snapper special which was excellent. Will definitely go again when we need to be in Palm Beach."

  • "This special seafood restaurant in Palm Beach distinguished itself with extraordinarily attentive, welcoming and friendly service, coupled with deliciously fresh salads, main courses and sides. We couldn't have asked for more; it was a sunny and delightful end to our day."

  • "PB Catch should be a great restaurant based on the concept:: a casual and welcoming room and dining bar; a menu that includes a comprehensive raw bar and good-sounding seafood dishes; and an idea of casual gourmet. Unfortunately, the pace just does not deliver: the food (including the raw bar) is mediocre, the service is perfunctory and the general impression is of a place that doesn't care for its diners' experience. Greater passion, enthusiasm, and dedication on the part of the service staff and better ingredients and execution in the kitchen would make the identical room and menu a real winner. As is, this place is to be avoided."

  • "We have been to PB Catch 3 times. This last visit the 4 of us ordered catch of the day, pot stickers, special salad and stone crab legs. The pot stickers were below par, not recommended. The salad was fine, the stone crab was a bit mushy, maybe not fresh or thawed. The catch was not too exciting. To keep going I would ask for better on all fronts."

  • "PB Catch didn't disappoint. We live in palm beach and didn't know about this restaurant heard about it from a friend. The food was delicious and the ambiance was very nice elegant, cool and most of all could hear our guests speak without noisy background. We would definitely go back again. Don't expect it to be cheap it is palm beach"

  • "First, I received an email confirmation two days before the reservation Then, a follow up reminder call the morning of the reservation(impressed!). We had a 530 pm dinner res. We were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. The atmosphere was nice and decor was classy but not snobbish. Our waiter was fantastic and funny. He was attentive without being annoying. The dinner, appetizers, drinks and dessert were oustanding(I had the sea bass. Delicious). I highly recommend this restaurant. However, going early (530pm) was a great idea as the restaursnt packed out by the time we left. I will definitely be back!!!! Regina. Boynton Beach. Fl"

  • "I liked my food a lot, but my wife does not like the way they served or prepared the mahi-mahi fish. My guest ordered a filet mignon and ate it all, quickly, as she liked it."

  • "My favorite restaurant in Palm Beach: delicious food, unobtrusive professional friendly service, and they pay attention to sustainability standards in sourcing their seafood. Plus none of the attitude you get at some of the competition!"

  • "The food was excellent at PB Catch as was the service. The wait staff was extremely attentive which made for an excellent experience. The menu is eclectic. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which I highly recommend. My husband had the fish and chips which were also excellent. Save room for desert! The bread pudding and key lime pie were also both excellent. The best part was that the food was served hot, so you know that it did not sit around at all but was served right away. We went early and no one was there - by the time we left the place was hopping! There is a great bar in the restaurant area as well as a separate bar area, both looked inviting and a great place to eat."

  • "Food was good, service was so-so. Waiter did not offer bread while we were waiting for our food. Other tables had bread on their table. It took too long before waiter asked for our order. Order came in in a good length of time. It took about 30 minutes from the time I asked for a bill and actually had to sign my credit card slip."
