  • "Went Saturday with another couple, the place was hopping. The appetizers are great! I had the red snapper special it was delicious! Would recommend making a reservation we had one and still waited 30 minutes for our table. Other than that I will recommend and will be back."

  • "Delicious and well prepared food. You will be more than pleased with whatever you order. Our server, Matthew was attentive and very pleasant. Definitely worth going to...1/2 price wine on Wednesday is just another reason to go and enjoy."

  • "Everything was perfect - Seated for our early Saturday night dinner on time (important when dining before a show). I had the Nonna's Rigatoni Mezze which was absolutely delicious. My husband had a special that evening, "Cowboy Steak", which he also enjoyed. I would recommend asking the waiter to tell you the prices for the specials so you know what to expect when the bill comes. Menu prices were a little on the pricey side, but everything was very good. Portion sizes were just right. Service was also outstanding with the manager/owner and the chef stopping by our table to see if all was to our liking. Will definitely dine at the restaurant again."

  • "I usually love Pazzo. We went on Saturday for my birthday and I got the Cowboy steak special for 46 dollar. It was nothing but FAT. I usually do not complain about a bad meal but I only ate a little but had to leave my wife did not feel well. When I got home to finish the entire 3/4 of the steak was FAT. WE go here a lot .........might never go back now. It's sad........ Cause it was a really bad experience."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner at Pazzo. We ate at the bar and the service was very good. We sat next to a Friday night "regular" and enjoyed our conversation."

  • "When the food came out, my husbands steak was extremely fatty for a filet and the manager, who was extremely attentive, easily brought it back and made a new one. However this new one took 25 minute for him to receive , meanwhile I had finished my whole meal, boxed up my leftovers and was still waiting on his meal to come out. The manager was willing to provide me with something while I waited and comped me a glass of wine which was nice. His new piece of steak was delicious and we were both happy with our meals and drinks, but it was disappointing to wait so long for something which should have never come out that way."

  • "The food was completely average and under seasoned. Disappointing for such high prices. The restaurant was very very loud, but the patio was quieter."

  • "This was our first time at Pazzo. The owner greeted us initially and came back a couple of times to ask how everything was. We had no complaints at all. The food was very good and generous. The waitress was helpful, calm and friendly. The atmosphere was casual yet warm and comfortable. The drinks, however, were expensive, more than we have ever paid at other upscale restaurants. We will return, but the cost of the drinks will deter us from making this a regular hot spot for us."

  • "Had dinner here with my wife before a show at the Count Basie theater. Fantastic dinner and a great staff. ALL GOOD !!!"

  • "Based on its prices, Pazzo appears to aspire to be a high end restaurant. The surroundings are good and no issues with the food although not raving about it. But, alas, service just isn't in line with the prices."

  • "There are so many restaurants in Red Bank from which to choose but Pazzo stands out in the crowd. First of all, there is covered parking adjacent to the restaurant (and it's free). Then there's the food which is awesome. The wine on Wed is half price (can't go wrong with that) and the server (Matt) was kind enough to give us separate checks which made the bill for our group of 10 so much easier to deal with. After lunch, we went next door to Riverbank Antiques and spent a few hours shopping. It was the perfect day and I highly recommend this exact outing if you are looking for a fun and delicious afternoon. I will definitely be back to Pazzo and the Antique center. Next time, I'll go on a Monday when Pazzo's pasta and pizza is half price!"

  • "I have been here many times and the food is always consistently good...but, the service tonite made the meal end badly. Our waitress was attentive in the beginning and then she seemed to forget about us...so much so it literally took 15 minutes to wave her down to get the check and then and another 5 to wave her down to pick it up so we could pay it!!! She refused to look at us and was focusing on looking straight ahead. It was actually making me anxious ...I have no idea what happened, no apology, no nothing . Way to nice of a place for that kind of "lack of " attention!!"

  • "Dined at Pazzo on a Monday night. It was packed due to their ongoing special of half priced Pizza and Pasta. If you are going in a Monday make sure you have a reservation. Food was excellent and service was very good."

  • "had the pleasure of dining at Pazzo in red bank this past saturday evening with my wife and daughters and must say that we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. our reservation was honored, the host was extremely pleasant and accommodating, the wait staff was on the mark, and the food, from appetizers and entrees, down to dessert and coffee was excellent. Pazzo offers a nice selection of fish, pasta and meat as well as various personal pizzas for the casual diner. my bur rata appetizer with drizzled honey, fresh strawberries, and paper thin slices of pear was out of this world. we were happy that we were served outside on the enclosed deck as it seemed extremely loud in the indoor dining room. all in all, a very enjoyable experience ."

  • "Upon arriving we still waited 30 minutes for our table to be ready with reservation. The noise level was out of control. The waitress took forever to greet us, take our order. Only checked on us once. Of course the check took 30 seconds to get. It also took 45 minutes for our food to arrive at the table. Do not recommend"

  • "We enjoyed a casual Friday in Lent Dinner..calamari, which was the best and fresh delicious salad and awesome pizza with wild mushrooms!! Cocktails and great service!!"

  • "Food and service were superb! Just wish the meal came with a small salad."

  • "Reservation time was not honored, waiting an extra 20 minutes, also did not to expect to sit outdoors and basically freeze until someone put the heaters on, table was extremely not level and not convenient, expected to sit inside and enjoy dinner"

  • "Really enjoyed our dinner Saturday night- food was excellent - highly recommend the Bianca pizza as wells as the fig and arugula pizza. Pasta dishes were also great!"

  • "Restaurant was extremely busy but service and food was excellent. Surprised at the level of perfection achieved in both the food offerings and presentation. A real find."

  • "The place was buzzing with people at 645. Our crab cakes appetizer came quickly, and was okay..for main course, I ordered a Chilean Sea Bass special; the wife ordered a Margherita pizza. The entrees seemed to take awhile to come, although 1) the place was very busy so the delay want necessarily unexpected, and 2) the food was very good...enough that the wife and I plan to go back again. The espresso I had at the end of our meal had a significant amount of coffee grinds in the bottom of my cup. We were regularly asked about how our dining experience by our server, as well as the owner. I'd recommend this place to friends."

  • "Every dish was poorly prepared. Risotto was too hard and shrimp were like rubber. Clams marinara too watery Veal scaloppine is presented like lo mein. Everything mixed together. It is my opinion they do not use quality ingredients because the food has no flavor. Bread not warm at the table. The server rambled the specials so quickly . Mussels were below average . The garlic sauce had no flavor. Save yourself aggravation and money. It is not worth trying."

  • "Good Food ....a little pricey. Had the pasta wife had the Chicken. Food was hot and delivered promptly as we had show tickets. $20 plus for rigatoni ..... Good food is worth a price but NYC prices in Red Bank...."

  • "Friday was my first time dining at Pazzo. What great food! I shared the grilled octopus app, the meatball and fresh ricotta pizza and stuffed flounder, shrimp and clam entree. I was pleasantly surprised that octopus was even on the menu! The service was good although it seemed like out waiter was running back and forth from the inside of the restaurant to the covered outdoor space where we were seated. Next time I will request to be seated indoors for the ambiance. I will definitely be returning to Pazzo!"

  • "Very popular restaurant with inventive menu that changes enough to keep things interesting. Attentive staff. Well-prepared food. Good wine list. Would recommend to anyone."

  • "We chose Pazzo for its location, close to the Two Rivers Theater, and the free parking garage next door. We had a delightful early dinner before a play. We started with a flavorful salad consisting of different colored beets, goat cheese, candied pecans, arugula and small figs. This was followed by a white pizza with ricotta and caramelized onions on a light crust, which wet were unable to finih."

  • "we wanted to grab a bite before a show at two river theater. fyi pazzo offers a shuttle to the theater for free. great service !! the food was fantastic and if we are in the area again, i think we would be back. the papardelle bolognase is out of this world. i highly recommended. my wife and i enjoyed our dinner, it was a great night. reasonably priced and delicious. how can you beat that."

  • "Sat. eve., 5:30 for 2; Pazzo’s mostly empty. Parking free in garage, at Pazzo's rear. Staff very friendly, coat check offered. Immediately seated, near front patio section, walled in for season, well heated. Nice setting; very clean. Server Briana was wonderful. Limoncello chicken wing app was good, but very mild taste. Salads OK. Chicken scaloppini entrée was dry & tough, but the thick, bone-in pork chop w/cinn potatoes was excellent. Very tender & exquisite taste. All veg’s cooked perfectly. There 1.5 hrs. & by then place was full; wide range of clients. Bar overly busy w/no seating. Noise level was excessive, mood music barely audible so not necessary when place full. Other than pork dish; disappointed in overall food quality for price."

  • "We had reservations for 2 weeks and when we arrived they sat us in the outside tent with no heat. There was a cold chill in the air and we were put in the corner despite a lot of open tables. We never got bread and it took about 20 minutes for the waitress to come over to our table. We asked for bread and that took about 10 minutes to come. Our appetizers took about a half an hour to come out and dinner took over an hour from the time our appetizers were done. (the waitress did apologize and said they were overwhelmed with business that day) Still unacceptable!"

  • "In my opinion Pazzo has the best food in town The noise level is high but so is the energy level on weekends. The service is consistently good. You can order anything from pizza to veal dinners. Appetizers are large and can be shared or had as a small entrée."

  • "The food had to be sent back. There were waiters coming from everywhere. There is no reason to have 5 to 10 waiters in your face continually while you are trying to eat."

  • "Been there 4-5 times over the past year and the food is consistently great. From steak to seafood to pizza it is cooked right and has great flavor. It may seem pricey but you do get what you pay for which is unusual in today's restaurants. They even cater to those that are gluten free with a clearly marked menu!"

  • "The food was very good, I would definitely return. The place was packed on a Saturday night, could not even find a place to stand by the bar, let alone sit. We had 7:30 dinner reservations, but were seated closer to 8:00 PM. We started with the Artichoke stuffed with panko bread crumbs with garlic, romano cheese, and truffle oil....delish!!! For dinner, I had the Pappardelle Bolognese which was also relish...almost ate the whole dish! Prices were fairly reasonable, drinks were good too. I would definitely go again, just be prepared to wait even if you have a reservation."

  • "i enjoyed the food but could not carry on a conversation with the group of 5 people I was with .. just the person next to me . it is way too loud.. when we walked out the door we all gave a sigh of relief.... our ears finally got a rest.. we felt like we got our ears boxed !..... so even though I enjoyed the food very much ... I would not choose to go again to enjoy a nice evening of conversation and food..... I would possibly go at 5 when it first opens....."
