Payard Patisserie & Bistro - Caesars Palace Las VegasExcellent Food! The food was excellent but the waiter seemed slightly disinterested. We ordered the lamb chops and the filet mignon entrees. Both were cooked to our order. We also ordered an extra side, the boursin mac and cheese...to die for! When we signalled to the waiter to come over so we could see the dessert menu, he came over with the check and left. For a restaurant owned by a pastry chef, I cannot believe the waiter did not ask if we wanted dessert. We will go back when next in Vegas... If the waiter does not offer the dessert menu, just go next door and you can get a chocolate eclair at their pastry shop which is delicious.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMIncredible dinner!!!I love dinner at Payard, & always have to come here when we are in town. I noticed they changed some items on the menu. Instead of the lamb shank, they added a rack of lamb that was incredible. They also always have great dinner specials. The food, service and ambiance are great. Definitely my favorite little spot in Caesars! I look forward to my next visit!!!!!!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWell done at PayardExtremely tasteful food, everything was excellent. I was getting disillusioned by the blandness at the other restaurants, Payard IS the solution. Seriously. The bigger-name places were BLAND, packed with people and BLAND. Payard is a gastronomic gem.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMA quiet, unassuming smallA quiet, unassuming small restaurant in the midst of the garishness of Caesars Palace. The food and service exceeded my expectations, which were admittedly low having experienced the overpriced , over-hyped food so prevalent in Vegas. Food was relatively simple , with well-chosen ingredients presented without trying to put everything into every dish. Open kitchen in the middle was entertaining and informative. The chef readily discussed his technique with my wife, a real foodie.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrated a special birthdayCelebrated a special birthday with my family. The waiters treated the whole group as very special. I left with fond memories and hopes to return to enjoy those most special desserts as well as other food offerings. I enjoyed viewing the chef as he prepared our meals.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMSweet ServiceOur meals included dessert but we ran out of time, so the restaurant let us come back after the show to finish! Now that's service ;)3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome Brunch in Hard to find GemWe chose Payard Patisserie for Sunday Brunch and we arrived 15mins early. Even though we were early, we were seated promptly ahead of the walk-ins. We were suprised to see how small the dining room was(seats a little over 40). Our waiter was awesome and one of the best I have ever had. He was the only waiter with 2 assistants and kept up with the cooks who dished out meals quickly, from the kitchen, in the middle of the dining room. I ordered the Lobster Eggs Benedict on Potato Waffle which was delicious. The lobster and poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce had the right tang to it. My wife got the Classic Croque Monsieur which was golden brown and delicious, especially the baked tomato. Leave room for dessert!!!3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing dinner!!!Dinner was fabulous!!!! The service was delightful & the food was outstanding. My girlfriend and I both did the pre-fix menu. You choose any appetizer you want, any entree you want & any dessert you want (including the crepes, YUM) for only 48 dollars. They also had a great wine list, along with delicious wine cocktails! definitely be dining here more often, I think we just found our favorite spot!!!3/8/2013 12:00:00 AMwe LOVE the food here. It'swe LOVE the food here. It's the best brunch place in Vegas and, if you save room, you can go next door to the patisserie for dessert.2/3/2013 12:00:00 AM
