Diner Reviews
  • "Very difficult to find. Maybe a sign on Yamata would be helpful. Also, why was the entertainment terminated early. I came from Naples for the show and was very disappointed that it was cut short for piped in music. The venue was attractive and the noise level was no more than expected with the number of people in the restaurant. This was my first time at Pavilion Grille and was not impressed due to the difficulty in finding it and the disappointing experience with the shortened LIVE entertainment. At this time I would not recommend Pavilion Grille. If you correct the problems I noted I may change my mind."

  • "We walked in to the Pavillion Grille and the music was incredibly loud! The restaurant is located in a building atrium, and the sound magnifies in the space. We paid our cover charge and were shown to a table and given menus. We then proceeded to wait, and wait, and wait. After about 15 minutes, a server went by, and said, "I'll be with you in a minute.", but seemed very disinterested in us. We waited a few minutes more, and decided to leave. On the plus side, our cover charge was refunded without problem. This appears to be set up more for dancing and drinks than for dinner, although the menu was quite extensive. It also caters to an older crowd."

  • "Manager was rude, pushy and obnoxious. This is a "class A"quality venue/restaurant and the Manager has few social skills. Wait staff were very cordial."

  • "Everything was wonderful, especially the srvice. Prices a little on the highside compared to other choices for dining and dancing"

  • "If you are looking for a quiet, private place to have a delicious lunch meeting, this is the place. I literally thought the place was closed when I arrived. We were the only customers sitting in the atrium of the office building. That being said, the service was great. The waiter had knowledge of every dish and made a wonderful recommendation for the salmon. I've heard that Pavilion is a hopping place for dinner, so I suspect that they are required to be open for lunch. So given the privacy and personal attention, why not plan your lunch there?"

  • "My husband and I reserved a table by the dance floor & enjoyed watching everyone dance the whole night to the wonderful singer performing mostly 50s music with some 60s and 70s thrown in there and for his last set he came out with a phenominal performance as Elvis! The food was great & the service was excellent!"

  • "was fun we were with a group of fun people so we had a ball. Its not great for a first date but with friends that like to dance and have fun its great. Food was ok but we were there to dance id go back once in a while like the entertainment not too much around anymore to dance so you have a captured audience,"

  • "We were a group of 4 and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The band was terrific. They played a wide variety of music allowing everyone an opportunity to dance. We all agreed it was reasonably priced and we would return. "

  • "My friend and I expected to have a bite and run but stayed cause the DJ was so good - playing one good song after the other, older and newer. We LOVED the crab bisque, and the flatbread with barbecue chicken could not have been done any better. Our server was very friendly and checked on us frequently, which I like. We're going back next week for dinner!"

  • "We had a wonderful time dancing and watching some accomplished dancers. The food was a bonus, we did not expect to enjoy both so much. Crab cakes were very good, the Greek salad was large enough for the table. All in all a delightful evening."

  • "We went on a Wednesday, there was ballroom a cruise.dancing and a dance lesson. We all liked the food, something for everyone , There were a lot of dancers mingling at the bar, High ceiling with a canopy over the dance floor and lights circling palm trees. It was festive. loved the chicken Marsala, two guests said ,"it was like being on a cruise.""

  • "First time here and I had a good time. We had the buffet which was good with alot of selections but what I did not like was the turkey carving station. The turkey appeared to me looked and tasted not like "fresh" turkey, but more like a turkey roast you can get from the freezer at Publix, ex. Jennie-O. I would come back. Also did not care for the band too much. Have heard much better oldie groups."

  • "Been to the Pavilion Grille many times and always go for dinner and dancing. The food is always good. Usually order the Salmon or Skirt Steak and Sonoma Salad. We attended a special dinner for Rosh Hashanah which was served Buffet style and it was an amazing dinner! The Salmon, Roasted Chicken and Brisket were wonderful. We were able to have all our favorites and seconds! It was a traditional dinner for Rosh Hashanah including the best Matzoh Ball Soup ( served at the table) I have ever had. The Apple Crisp was delicious. The servers and busboys checked on our table frequently and made sure we were well attended to. I highly recommend the Pavilion Grille for people who love Dinner and Dancing, and for those planning a private party."

  • "This restaurant is worth a visit due to the unique nature of the space and setting. It is a big, open atrium - 4 stories (with a roof though) and all sorts of plants and trees around the place, strung with white lights. It really looked nice. There was an enclosed dining room but we chose to sit out in the open area by the dance floor - which by the way is gigantic. The food and service were both good and the prices very reasonable. I learned that they have live music and entertainment Tues. through Fri. nights, always - and sometimes on Saturdays. It's a good place to do an office party or go with a group of any size."

  • "I would recommend the Pavillion with reservations. It's better to drink and dance than eat there. The food was not that impressive and the menu was somewhat limited."

  • "Took my wife for the Mother's Day Jazz Brunch. Located in the Atrium of an office building, it is a very modern and interesting setting. A great Jazz duo played music during the brunch. Music was very enjoyable. The food was excellent with a great selection. The Eggs Florentine were wonderful and they had the best blintzes my wife ever had! Carved Roasted Sirloin was perfect! Great salad selection. The Chicken Marsala and the Salmon were very good. Wonderful desserts! An amazing Flan and Double Chocolate Mousse cake were my favorites. There was a special with unlimited Mimosas for $5. The servers came around often to refill them!! We have been there before for dinner and dancing. The food is always good. Fun place with good music."

  • "The food was as impressive as the location! The lobby of this building is well suited for the Pavilion Grill & nicely equipped to fit in, well! A great find!"

  • "I can't review the restaurant on regular days but I wouldn't go back for a Brunch. Stations where in three different areas, we found the ice cream when we were almost ready to leave. Took the hostess almost 15 minutes to find us a table for six as the one they wanted us to take was the last one, out of the main area where you couldn't even hear the music and there were no decorations. The food was good and our server nice."

  • "The Grill needs to hire enough servers to accomodate the dinner guests during the week. Bar service is excellent. Entertainment was the best. We will certainly return and bring our friends."

  • "No one would go there for the fabiulous cuisine, but it's great fun. We love to dance and there are only a handful of dining and dancing venues. We have only gone on Friday nights to dance to Joey and the Gigilos, who are terrific. Service is tough. Finding your waitperson to order another drink is nearly impossible . Most people order the buffet, which means you don't need you waitperson as often. I ordered from the menu and my salad with Salmon was actually delicious."

  • "Great for people who love to dance all night long. Also great for people-watching...some real characters show up, but you gotta give them credit for their exuberance! Food at the buffet is surprisingly good and very reasonable. Plus, if you dance a lot, you won't feel as guilty about eating all that food!"

  • "A very special evening. Food was excellect, considering it was buffet. Dessert was very disappointing. Just 3 choices of cake. Nothing else!! What about those who need to limit sugar intake? Program was terrific and place was outstanding"

  • "Came with my wife for dinner and joined a group of eight of our neighbors. Loved the Lamb Shank and the Sonoma Salad. My wife raved about the Walnut covered Salmon. The prices are super reasonable. The Chocolate Mousse Cake is unbelievable and well priced at $5. Comparable to $10 at a fine dining restaurant. Super reasonable wine menu. Sat right on the dance floor and the dance floor was packed. Bar was super busy. Music is loud but great for dancing. We came before the music started so had time to talk! $10 music charge was promptly returned with dinner purchase. Been here many times and always very good. Also attended a Corporate party which was great."

  • "We have made our reservation for dinner, not knowing that on Wednesday night the restaurant is booked for ballroom dancing. We were charged $15 per person cover charge, but were told that it would be refunded at the end. Following the meal, I presented the waiter with the cover charge receipt, he went to his boss and came back with partial refund, it was only after I complained that the balance of the cover charge was returned. It put a little damper on a nice evening, and the cover charge exercise was not needed. The food was good, and service could have been better."
