Third visit to Paulette's, a pleasure as always. Dinner was excellent. Our waiter was very engaging, checked on us often. The only thing is we were seated in an area by a party of 12 really loud young girls. Other then that It was a nice girls night out and we will be back in the near future.

Atmosphere was good, quiet, the service attentive, but for the price charged, my wife and I both felt the food was only average, actually over-priced, if you want our honest opinion. To spend $120 for two for such a meal is something of a disappointment.

Paulette's was always one of my favorite restaurants when it was in Overton Square, and this was the first time I had tried it since they moved to Mud Island. The decor is much nicer, and the food and service are still every bit as good as I remembered. The prices were a little higher, but still very reasonable for the quality of the food. My wife, son, daughter, and I were all very pleased.

My wife and I dined before an Orpheum Sunday performance. Paulette's was recommended by a friend. A delightful lunch. Nestled on the Mississippi in a warm neighborhood made it especially inviting. Food, service, and quiet setting was special. Will dine here again prior to the next 3 Sunday matinees.

Our recent Sunday brunch at Paulette's with out of town family, celebrating an 80th birthday, was perfect. The food was a culinary delight, the ambiance elegant, service impeccable and the Mississippi River stunning. Highly recommended for that special occasion. The Salmon Benedict with a side of spinach was absolutely delicious and the portion, while generous enough, was not engorging. A fitting celebration for a dear soul with much life lived, and more of the best to come.

Food was good but not amazing. The setting was probably the best part of my experience. Would have had a better time but my party of five waited 30 minutes for popovers and 45-50 for one course breakfast entrees with less than 10 tables sat in the restaurant. We ordered mostly omelets and French toast which were kind of cold. Had high expectations for this place but the service was mediocre at best even though our waitress was really nice.

Too expensive for what you get. We were the youngest ones in the place -- seemed like an old folks restaurant. I had a reservation, but when I got there I stood for 5 minutes in the foyer without anyone recognizing I was even there. Very strange.

Paulette's is a lovely restaurant situated near the river and downtown Memphis. We went on a Saturday night, and enjoyed ourselves. The noise level was good for conversation, quiet background music was unobtrusive. Service and ambiance was good, and so was the food. We had their traditional popovers with strawberry butter, then salad, and I had the sole while my husband had the Chicken Sicilian. A chocolate crepe with ice cream provided a sweet finish. We will be back, I feel sure.

This was my first experience at the current address and I will definitely return. I had eaten at the Overton Square address many times over years. The ambiance with the different rooms makes for a personal experience with you guest. With the different rooms the noise level does not interfere with table conversation. The food was nicely presented and was delicious.

I was looking for a classy restaurant to bring my husband to for his birthday. Made the reservation on OT, specifically noting that. Waited 30 minutes past our reservation time for our table, reminded the host that it was my husband's birthday. General decor was pleasant; had it not been for 2 LOUD groups right next to us, the ambiance may have been romantic. Instead, we had to yell to each other to be heard. Husband compared it to a bar in New Orleans during Mardi Gras! The server was inattentive; disappeared for quite a long time, had no recommendations for the menu, as she hadn't tried any of the food (bad sign). Nothing was even remotely prepared in the French cuisine; everything was bland an unimaginative. No birthday recognition.

We love Paulette's! We go there for almost all special occasions now - and other times as well. Their Monday night $20 3-course meal makes getting a wonderful "fancy" meal affordable. This time we went for Wednesday night lobster night for the first time - and the food was AMAZING! We're always pleased with our food, the service and love the ambiance. It's a quiet, romantic place to go for an evening out!

It was nice to watch the sun go down, enjoy a glass of wine and a wonderful dinner. I had the seafood and spinach crepes-yum. My husband had a lobster dish over black noodles; interesting but a little fishy for my taste. The waitress was so thoughtful, even suggesting she move us to better see the view out the winder. It was a great night out.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Paulette's. Everything was very flavorful. We started with the crab cake and the stuffed mushrooms. They were equally delicious. For dinner, we had the grouper, lamb, and filet. Again, the dishes looked nice, we cooked well, and tasted delicious. The only complaint I would have is with the service. I had to ask for a wine list and the waiter was somewhat difficult to understand.

I was somewhat disappointed because I had taken a date to Paulette's this past Friday evening and I described it as a relaxing romantic high class resturaunt . Someplace quiet where we can talk and be heard quietly. For the entire dinner there was a large group there for a birthday and they were very loud and up and down out of their seats. It was hard to hear our own conversations and we were about 20 feet away. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse a woman with bag pipes came in and played a long version of happy birthday then followed it up with another song. I do appreciate people celebrating but I was there to celebrate also and this pub style atmosphere was very disappointing. Thank you John Curry 901-461-4546

We were stimulated to go down to Paulettes by the note that Stan Gibson was guest chef for several weeks. The Monday special has to be best bargain in town- I had a nice Bibb salad, salmon with pesta sauce and linguine, and a very nice desert crepe while my wife opted for a superb crab cake, avocado and shrimp salad, and grouper from the regular menu. Every dish was perfect and the service was excellent- we will be back soon and again, the Monday night special has to be the best bargain in Memphis dining!
