A word from Paul Martin's American Grill - Rancho Cucamonga
Our founders, Brian Bennett and Paul Fleming, had a vision for a restaurant they wished was in their neighborhood — a place that serves you dishes made from scratch with the highest quality ingredients prepared simply and well, all offered at accessible prices. Embracing this concept and carrying these values into the restaurant kitchen, Paul Martin's American Grill was born.

Today our motto remains "Seasonal & Delicious." On our menu you will find the best seafood from sustainable fisheries, free-range and natural meats and poultry, artisan cheeses and cured meats. Alongside our food, we serve artisanal cocktails made with house-infused spirits, craft beers and a deep selection of over 100 wines, most of which are offered by the glass.

We encourage you to peruse our rich and varied menus, which are designed to foster sampling and sharing. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin’s.

  • Don't enjoy cold mashed potatos

Have been to PM's on several times & had great meals. For the name and pricing, should be that way. Had a special deal of the short ribs which I love with a soup or salad plus their yummy homemade ice. Our waitress was sweet and funny. Mushroom soup as well as butternut soups were outstanding and their bread is wonderful also. Short ribs came in short order but were a little more fatty then normal. Our lovely looking mashed potato's were barely warm (and only because of the supper hot plate) butter would not even melt. My husband ate his but I asked for another plate. When I got it, the same thing. Butter never moved. So half my dinner as well as my husbands was cold. Manager Dave said Thank you for letting us know as warmer was not on.

Although Paul Martin's American Grill has been open for 4 months, we just learned about it. What a great dining experience. We both had the lobster tail special which came with a choice of soup or salad and a dessert. My husband chose the mixed green salad with champagne vinaigrette, which he liked very much. I had the butternut squash soup and it was terrific. It had a touch of sweetness that I've not had in similar soups .... very unique. The lobster tail was served with a side of green beans which were perfectly cooked. We had outstanding service from Amanda. She checked on us regularly to make sure all was okay and that we didn't need anything. This was a wonderful find, fairly close to home, and we will definitely return.

Food was good but went for our anniversary it is just to noisy for a relaxing intimate meal, just too expensive with the main meal, salad, no bar bill, close to $90.00. For that price there are just too many nice places in Rancho to go to for the price and without TV's.

Paul Martin's had a wonderful selection of interesting foods with a little twist. The prime rib was very good and the skirt steak was delicious. Just peruse the menu, just little twists on what my kids would call "normal" foods. The service was desperately lacking, though. The salad came out three minutes before the entree. The server didn't know anything about several of the menu items or the wine list. The desert menu was unimaginative. The noise level was just bordering on obnoxious. The louder the music was, the louder everyone had to talk, the louder they played the music. It finally got better when the restaurant emptied out and they turned the music down. Once they get settled in, this will be a great go-to for a nice dinner.

First time we were at Paul Martins for dinner, it was a disaster. But we thought we would give it one more try. We ordered sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. We ordered as ide of sautate brussel sprouts. We got 2 orders of sweet potato fries, and no brussel sprouts. My dinner was ordered with a salad with dressing on the side. The server brought it with French fries. Server did not write down one item we ordered. As you can read, it really was a mess. Food was good.

We sat out on the patio, our service was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful server. Our food was just okay, drinks, appetizers and salad were great, we wished we had stopped there, our steaks were fatty, the mac n cheese was dry and the food was served only slightly warm, as if it had sat for a while before making it to the table. We did finish off our meal with excellent dessert, strawberry shortcake!

What I will say about this place is that it's definitely a break from the usual dining options. The atmosphere is nice. The service is a notch above most area restaurants. The food is very tasty. Only drawback here is the price. The entrees are priced ok but the appetizers are very expensive. Drinks are delicious and strong but also very expensive. Great option for couples or small groups. Not recommended for children.

When a customer with (or even without) a reservation has to wait a period of time before being seated, improvement is needed in alerting the customer when the table is ready. Do not email or text the customer unless you let the customer know you will be doing this. I also suggest that you confirm with the customer that he/she has their cell phone with them.... OR find a different way to inform the customer. Your wait staff is superb. The bar area is a place to make friends out of strangers -- awesome.

We have had lunch at Paul Martins twice , first time for dinner. We found the wine list a bit to be desired. I had the Polenta with vegetables, the vegetables were practically raw. My husband ordered the Skirt steak. it was tough and stringy. The bread they brought out was ice cold in the middle, we didn't bother eating it. we ordered the homemade ice cream, and that was very good.

Really enjoyed dining here. The shrimp salad was excellent and the Salmon Taco was better than expected. Too bad there is not a Paul Matin's in Seattle, as I would eat there often. Variety of menu items were a good choice. Waiter exceeded our expectations which made our dining experience even better. Highly recommend eating here.

Met my sister for lunch on a Sunday. Was impressed with the decor while enterring. Seated immediately. Dustin, our waiter was attentive and kept our water glasses full. We split the smoked salmon salad which was perfect for us and delicious. check was presented promptly without hurrying us. On the patio the was a lounge area with sofas and easy chairs that looked very inviting. Definitely want to return for dinner and cocktails with my spouse.

Chose to sit inside, very loud, hard to communicate with table mates. In the middle of dinner the large sliding window next to our table was opened to the outdoor dining patio - had we wanted an outdoor table we would have sat outdoors. High price point for ordinary food.

We were greeted at the door when we arrived for our 8:15 reservation and were seated immediately. Wait staff was excellent throughout the meal. Small but diversified menu. My wife ordered the soup of the day and I had the kale ceasar salad. Both ok, but way overpriced in my opinion. My wife had the brick chicken and it was very good. I ordered the chimichurri steak medium and it was served rare. The waitress was very apologetic and returned it to the kitchen. The kitchen either put it into a microwave or into the salamander to cook it a bit further. The problem was they left the chimichurri sauce on the meat. The beautiful green sauce came back black. Very disappointing. We will give it another try. Probably for lunch.
