Play a round of miniature golf, visit the petting zoo or visit the little shops and antiques while you wait. In fact it effected my enjoyment level the evening my mother, daughter and I had dinner there. I don't think this review will change things but I hope it will shine a light on the fact that these animals should not be in cages outside of a pretty nice eating establishment. I had reservations for 10 but our party had expanded to 12 and they were happy to seat all of us, we had a great private room that allowed us to visit and celebrate is a quiet atmosphere. Our meals were delicious. The service was awesome. The grounds were blooming with all kinds of spring flowers so we walked around after our meal. In the past visits the expereince was very good. This most recent visit was very good as well with the exception of the Salmon I ordered. Was not Bad, just a liitle over cooked. The flavor had a hint of burnt . Sent back two times. Very apologetic and food was great and to be honest no one really had room for the cheesecake. The 2" pork chop and over all meal was great as every other time we have been at Patti's. Good thing we live two hours away the waist line would not survive if closer. Only two items that were negative on this trip. Area Prom night so dinning atmosphere was loader than normal, this is nor controlable by Patti's. While we waited we had to stand in a crowded gift store due to a lack of seating for waiting customers. I did this before with my oldest daughter and it was great too. Food is always fantastic. The 2" porkchop is to die for and is plenty for lunch, supper, & then lunch again. The turtle desert was AMAZING! Our service was fantastic. This was the least crowded we've ever seen it, which made for a nicer meal. The only snag came when we were done. We were given the wrong bill and paid it without looking it over. After leaving and driving a few miles, we realized the error and went back. The staff at the counter were less than helpful. Apparently, our bill was given to another table and they had paid it. After about 15-20 minutes and much fumbling and explaining, everything was taken care of and our $15 overpayment was refunded. We will be back and will continue to tell our friends about Patti's! Mine was the best I'd ever had but I shared it with my wife because her chop was slightly overdone and not nearly as moist as mine. Afterwards, we always roam around the many shops located within the property to walk-off our meal, then make the 65 mile drive home. The food is always good, with generous portions (we never have room for dessert), and the wait staff was courteous and friendly, and knew the menu well. We had a shrimp appetizer that was really exceptional and I had a pork chop with a mango salsa that was unusually good. I always enjoy the Kentucky Curry salad dressing while my partner prefers the Parmesan peppercorn. We ended our meal with a take home Boo Boo Pie.
