Diner Reviews
  • "We celebrated our 39th anniversary and drove 157 miles one way to do so. As always they exceeded our expectations on service, seated us 15 minutes earlier than our reservation, food was hot as it was supposed to be and the staff were well trained and attentive. From the roasted pork soup and hot bread to the spinach with hot bacon orange dressing, to the smoking hot football baked potato and then the one inch succulent pork chop and my wife's cheese covered chicken to the surprise cheesecake given for our anniversary (which went home with us as we were stuffed ) and the staff singing Let me Tell You Sweetheart I'm In Love With you; you could not ask for a better dining experience. We ate leftovers for two days. Thank you very much"

  • "Wife and I ordered the bacon-wrapped filets, mine medium rare, hers medium. Mine was perfectly done, but hers was a tad less cooked than she was used to. She tried it anyway, and when it melted in her mouth she didn't want to send it back. Baked potatoes were ginormous, steamed vegetables were spiced and done to perfection. Bread in the flower pot was tough, even though it was hot. Had hot fudge sundaes and they were the perfect ending to the meal. The waiter was energetic and made sure that we were happy without hovering over us. I would have to say in my 50+ years of dining that this steak was probably in the top three for quality, taste and texture. "

  • "Has been in many magazines. We travel this route specifically to eat at this restaurant. The 2" pork chops with sauce are fantastic. Also love the spinach salad, fresh bread and loaded baked potato, Lots of shopping while you wait and you will wait. Make a reservation. Oh and the desserts are one of a kind. Enjoy."

  • "Patti's has always been a highlight of our visits to Grand Rivers. Every new visitor goes there. Make sure you save your appetite as portions are large and desserts (pie) are awesome!"

  • "Very enjoyable. We had a pleasant dinner. There was a slight feeling of moving the tables thru like cattle that needed to be branded but it was only in the impersonal way the server spoke to us. Polite but no interest that we had never been there before nor a sense that she was present as if she was busy thinking about what she needed to do next. The older woman who stopped by our table was very nice and seemed sincere. The food was great. If the service had been a bit less "whatever i wish this night was over" It would have been a wonderful experience. Perhaps it was just an off night but i did not notice any of the service staff smiling."

  • "First time visit to Patti's restaurant. Will be returning here for sure! Food and service were outstanding. The 2 inch pork chop is a Must Have item!"

  • "A group of (9) guys were riding our bikes along the Trace and planned to have lunch at Patti's, on a Saturday. We had made reservations in advance and arrived 15 mins early. As we walked in - a couple was walking out and said it was a 1.5 hr wait. However, having reservations helped tremendously as we were seated a few minutes before our reservation time. Several of our guys chose the 2 inch thick Pork chop and the juiciness and flavor lived up to the hype. The big surprise were the desserts offered and we sampled several different ones - but the big hit was the "Mile High" coconut cream pie; order one and you'll know why! The servers were pleasant and very helpful. We are now planning a ride back there soon, this time with our wives."

  • "we just wanted to do a day trip after a seemingly long winter. we love the area and we have family coming down easter weekend and wanted to take them somewhere a little different. we heard about patti's settlement from a friend and did a little exploring. we decided to have dinner there for my wife's birthday. it was a wonderful experience, our reservations were at 6:30 but we arrived an hour and half early but they had a table for us. service, ambiance and dinner was great. we have reservations there for good Friday with my family. whenever we come to the area now, we will dine here.. thank you....my wife's shopping cost three times more than dinner........"

  • "We had a group of 14 and did not have a very long wait. We had made reservations a week in advance. Our waiter was great. Not only did he provide us with great service but he was a lot of fun. The food as always was perfect. This was our tenth year to get together at Pattys for dinner. It was a family gathering with people from Illinois and Tennessee. Thank you"

  • "We were celebrating a special occasion and it couldn't have been better. We had a baby with us and they accommodated us with a sling for his carrier to sit in and we had plenty of room at the table for the baby and the rest of us. Love the extra time they take to celebrate special occasions with a song and dessert. Only had one person mention their potato wasn't hot otherwise the food was wonderful."

  • "We have eaten at Patti's several times...recently it just seems dirty. When you consider the price, one would expect higher quality. The waitress seemed to talk down to us and rushed us through our meal. We will think twice before going again."

  • "Patti's is always my number one choice for special occasion dining--birthday, anniversary, and even my daughter chooses here for her celebration meals!"

  • "Patti's is always an EXCELLENT choice for lunch or dinner. The food is always very good and the service is great. Each time that I have gone there with a reservation I have been seated right a the time of my reservation. That is not an easy thing to do with the volume of business that they do. I would recomment Patti's to anyone who is looking for a good dining experience."

  • "We had a fun time at Patti's last Friday (March 28-my birthday). Everything was excellent. We enjoyed our waiter."
    Dined on 3/28/2014
  • "The food was good however, for the prices, the portions were small and I was a little disappointed. Not what I would call family friendly pricing by any means but for a special occasion, and if you have some extra cash, it is a very nice dining experience. Not country cooking, so if that is what you are expecting... this is not the place."

  • "The food is consistently good at Patti's! I hadn't been in years and my husband had never been so I was excited for him to experience it. He got the filet and I got the pork chop, but only after having the amazing cheese sticks. The bread is tasty with the two types of butter and the presentation is fun. We had to end the meal with delicious desserts, my favorite is the 3-layer, 3 day coconut cake! Service is great and the attire & atmosphere are relaxing."

  • "I love Patti's. I have been going there for years. The food is great. The service is dependable and it has always been a pleasant experience. I have one complaint. When we went in for lunch, I told our waitress that the three ladies and I were going across the street to the theater for the show and wanted to return for dessert after the show. She said no problem just come back and we would be seated and served dessert. But when we came back we were told they were busy and it would be at least an hour before we could be seated but that we could go to Bill's and get dessert which we did. No real problem - just felt lied to and uncomfortable."

  • "Was looking for something fun to do with group of friends. Found a show at Badgett Theater and then reserved a table through Open Table. It was nice to be able to get a reservation # to pass along to others as we started out with 4 and the others were able to call and use the reservation # to enlarge the group without any trouble. Patti's has a reputation in the region as a favorite for special celebrations. Over the years we've only been a handful of times and each time was better than the last. We won't wait so long to return! Save room for dessert as the server will not leave your table until you order dessert, lol!"

  • "The food is great and huge plates. You will not go away hungry! And get a to go box or eat dessert first because the pies are so yummy and delicious and worth it! :) Go on a Thursday night if you can, it's a lot less crowded. We go there everytime we come to Green Turtle Bay Resort."

  • "Patti's is a unique place that you would definately not be disappointed in. The food is really good, the decor is amazing...there is not a spot that is not covered with something. Wish we lived closer because it would be a great place to take family and friends."

  • "Patti's isn't close to much of anything unless you live the middle of nowhere to begin with so, taking a trip to get there is the one thing I believe most patrons have in common. It. is. worth. the. drive! I live nearly 2 hours away and have now made the trip 2x and it is certainly worth to trip. The setting is Land Between The Lakes and although the views from the restaraunt aren't awe-inspiring, you don't have to go far to to partake of beautiful lakes. The food is outstanding and portions are impressive. I'm quite fond of the bacon-wrapped filet and may find it hard to try something different on my next visit. Go. You'll like it!"

  • "We have been visiting Patti's for several years now. It is a 2 hour drive for us but well worth it. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were seated and waited on promptly. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful, and as always the food was phenomenal!"

  • "I had the new tropical pork and it was excellent!! A few things did disappoint me about this visit however. I cut my meat up, and ate approximately half, I had the waitress box the rest which was about 8 pieces of pork and my potato. Later that night when I decided to eat the remainder, I was shocked when I only had 4 pieces of pork in my box. So, I feel as if I paid $20 for half a meal. Our table was situated where my chair was repeatedly hit by staff and other patrons throughout the night. The overall dining experience was not worth the $60 price tag for my husband and I and the 2 hour drive."

  • "Yes, me, my wife, my sister and her husband drove all the way from another state just to have lunch at Patti's. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTE!!! The atmosphere is very relaxed, the service is outstanding, and for food is out of this world!! This trip is at least an annual event for us and we have already started planning our next trip to Patti's. We even enjoyed the special attention we received from the goose standing by the door greeting us as we entered and then honked a big thank you as we left!"

  • "My two best friends from high school agreed to meet me at Patti's for lunch after too many years of not getting together. The restaurant was a perfect distance for us to travel from three different locations and once there we were greeted by a friendly staff. From there, things just got better. The menu was extensive, making it difficult to choose(!) and the room where we were seated was filled with colorful flowers and also had a nice window for us to enjoy the sunshine. We had a table that made our "catching up" conversation easy.....and the wait staff was the friendliest we had ever experienced. Shopping afterwards made the day even more special. I would say that Patti's "has it all"....and then some!!"

  • "This was not our first trip to Patties. We had celebrated our first wedding anniversary there 24 years ago and had visited Patties several times in the years in between. The experience of our 25th wedding anniversary at Patties was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make it special. The food was excellent as always. And the singing of "Let me call you sweetheart" was as good as you will hear anywhere, just as it was when they sang it to us 24 years ago. Thanks to all of you who helped make the evening special and something to remember. And thanks to our waitress Daria for taking good care of us."

  • "Although Patti's is 1 1/2 hours away from my home I wouldn't go anywhere else for a pork chop. The service is amazing, and the food is even better. They are known for their 2" pork chops, which are always perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is perfect for couples, families. or groups. On my last trip I went with a group of teachers from work. I had to call the day before our visit to see if they could change our reservation from 12 to 13; they were very accommodating. On the grounds there are also shops and a few animals if you decide to walk-off some of your meal. I would recommend Patti's to everyone near or far."
