Even if two of the guests were a bit disappointed that PG's changed the menu and the 2012 pork tenderloin recipe has been replaced. So, they went for lamb and loved it. Other guests had fish (grouper, yellow tuna) and also enjoyed it. One person had beef and it was cooked to perfection. Sunday is BYO wine so we did and thought this concept was economical since they included 20% service charge for a "group" of six... Appetizers were also a delight (lobster spring roll, mussels and dim sum) and so was dessert (key lime pie, mixed berries and ice cream, tiramisu) but the best is the view and to be directly on the water. So glad we finally did! We had a 7:00 reservation on Saturday night. Upon arriving, we were seated with no waiting to a table wih a great view of the bay. The menu is very eclectic with a bit of an Asian flair. That being said, you can have anything from personal size pizza to filet mignon. I had the miso glazed sea bass and husband had fettucine Alfredo with shrimp, Both dishes were excellent. They also have a price fixe menu at $28.95 pp which incl appetizer thru dessert but smaller portions. The salads looked yummy that went by as did most everything else. On Saturday, March 15 it was the most crowded I have ever seen it. Despite having a reservation, they were not ready for us or several others waiting to be seated. They immediately began pouring glasses of wine and asked our patience to be seated. It was handled very tactfully and gracefully. It was a beautiful evening to sit outside on their patio with the wine. It was only about 15 minutes before our lovely water front table was ready.
Dinner was delicious,and the service is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Many menu items have a pan-Asian twist, but the menu offers more traditional fare and some Italian-inspired dishes as well. Everything we ordered -- chicken in lettuce wraps, mussels in a coconut curry sauce, Ahi tuna tartare in wonton cups with "sakamole" (Guacamole made with sake), and pork stir-fry -- was delicious and beautifully presented.
